Lily Evans wandered the corridors. It was about 12 pm, and she was waiting
for an owl. She walked towards a small, lavender owl as it landed, and it
placed a letter in her hand. She quickly ripped it open, to find her worst
fears. It was a simple note; its point was to bring terror, which it did.
In a blood red color, it said:
Lily,
You are next. Beware, Imposter witch, Beware.
You-Know-Who
Lily crumpled to the floor, fainting. James Potter, who was on a midnight prowl with his friends, ran towards her as she fainted. His friends struggled to keep up with him, because he was running so quickly. He caught her before she hit the ground.
"Does anyone know who she is?" James asked.
"Lily Evans, a Ravenclaw." Remus whispered, going a faint pink.
Sirius noticed the blush that tinged his cheeks, but said nothing for now, because she was the most important thing. No one knew the Ravenclaw password, so between them, they lifted the small girl and took her to the Gryffindor Common room.

Lily woke the next morning, with the sun streaming into her eyes and soft whispers coming from over the other side of the couch. She turned over, and was greeted by a series of faces. One was Sirius Black, a well known trouble maker. The next was James Potter, who equaled as Sirius' partner in crime. The last one was the only one she knew personally. Remus Lupin. The scary thing about this was; they were all boys and all Gryffindor.
She looked around and saw the maroon, and groaned alerting the boys of her awakening. They suddenly swarmed over her, asking questions until she held up a hand and hit Sirius in the face. They stopped, surprised, and Remus handed over a note, the note. Lily's eyes widened, and she tore it from the boy's grasp. She tucked it into her jeans pocket, and went to get up. Sirius had finally recovered, and took one arm and slung it over his shoulder. James grabbed her other one and did the same. She smiled weakly, and before she could protest, was in Professor Dumbledore's office.
He sat there, aware of her very existence, and gently took the note out of her hand. The boys and Lily held their breath, waiting for him to react. He finally looked up, and stroked the side of her face, very gently, and smiled sadly.
"Do you understand, Lily Rose?? This isn't a joke, your going to have to be sent somewhere else." That night, she was sent to America, to go to Salem Institute of Witchcraft. That had been five years ago, and James hadn't seen her since. He had read about her, of course, everyone had. But she wasn't ever seen in London again, until one day. *~*~*~*~*
Lily Evans stood in an all too familiar airport, watching the families reunite, and waited. Her family dead, she only had Remus Lupin, a very old friend to meet. She saw a young man walk in and see her. His eyes had lit up, and she had smiled so warmly, she felt so young again. He helped her out to his motorcycle, and they hopped on, her bag on her back (she didn't have that much to bring back..a few books, her wand, a set of robes.) and they took off.
This was a wizard airport, so they could just fly off, with out looking strange. A few minutes later, they had landed in central London, in front of a posh building of apartments. They walked up to Lily's apartment, in which Remus had been staying in, and he unlocked it. She walked in and collapsed onto the sofa, almost crying.
Remus laughed slightly, and made her a cup of strong, black current tea. She woke up almost immediately. The door buzzer rang, and Remus got up, and Lily could hear his footsteps echoing through the foyer. She heard two other male voices, and was shocked to find them belonging to James Potter and Sirius Black.
A/N: CLIFFY!! I may have abandoned GCBAT, but I've only got writer's block, soooo hopefully, I can continue lata!
