Its so ugly. Its just a big, grey, ugly block of granite with names written on it. With his name written on it.

Big, grey, ugly, and so boring! How can something so boring be in any way connected to him? It doesn't seem possible.

But then again, the fact that he's gone doesn't seem possible either. But he is. Gone and never coming back. Like so many other people.

Colin Creevy, Remus Lupin... their names are on this most ugly of memorials too. You can find Colin all the way to the left where the names begin, Remus is in the middle, and F... he is close to the end where the list of names ends.

His name on grey granite! That was just wrong. His name should be colourful, and bright, and it should shine out. In fact, they should all shine out, these people who had died for a better future, their names should shine bright and beautiful and immortal.

And with this realisation came an idea. He raised his wand and pointed it at the memorial. George had always been good with flowers, something F... something his brother had always laughed at. And so with one wave of his wand, flowers began to grow around the block of stone. Yellow, red, pink, and blue flowers grew all around it, and small white daisies grew in between each name.

Well almost. Because where his... where Freds name was the daisies were a vivid blinding magenta.
