Nelson is in what Ruth would call a 'liminal zone'. Halfway between being asleep and being awake. He is dozing next to her and they have just made love. Unfortunately, he knows he must get up soon so that he has time to look presentable for work in the morning.

He rolls over and grabs what he thinks is his watch and tries to look at the time.

"What's this?" he asks Ruth, who looks far more awake than he feels.

"That's um...that's," she hems and haws, not wanting to admit to Nelson that she even has a fit bit, much less how infrequently she uses it.

"I know what this is," Nelson smiles in an almost but not quite irritating way, "Michelle has one. This is one of those exercise tracker things."

"A fitbit, yes." Ruth supplies, "But as you can see, I haven't been very successful with it."

Ruth is suddenly feeling self conscious and she hates it. It rarely happens when she's alone with Nelson.

Nelson is thinking no matter how hard he tries, he can not stay away from the woman lying in bed next to him naked.

He tosses the fitbit back onto Ruth's nightstand.

"Well don't use it on my account. I like you with a few curves. I think your grand, just the way you are."
