Title: Just between you and Me
Rated: T
Pairing: KakaIru
Summary: "...It's Midnight Iruka…where are you going?" One-shot, KakaIru mentions of IruNaru
Disclaimer: Me no own
A/N: I'm tired of fics where Kakashi always the one who cheats on Iruka, so I'm turning the tables
Also wrote this because I made my boyfriend write an angst story too, and well I owed him a fic even if he doesn't like the couple
"Kakashi," muttered Iruka in utter annoyance as his lover had pressed him against the wall near the door. He was about to leave, but Kakashi had prevented his escape. And by the way his blue eye shimmered with lust, he knew he wasn't leaving any time soon. "Please Kakashi, let me go."
Kakashi's exposed eye blinked a few times before he pulled down his mask and ignored Iruka's protests. He leaned in and gave Iruka a small chaste kiss on the lips, which always worked in seducing the school teacher. He could not remember when a small gentle kiss did not melt Iruka in his arms and send him into bed with him. Although it was different tonight.
"I'm serious Kakashi!" Iruka looked up at him sternly, his leaf headband shimmering in the light of the living room.
Kakashi's one exposed eye blinked again, before it looked down at Iruka with a shimmer of sadness. "Iruka, what's the matter? I mean, you've been acting this way for about a month now. Every other night you go out and do something! What is it tonight? Laundry, going shopping? It's Midnight Iruka…where are you going?"
Iruka looked down onto the floor, away from Kakashi's gaze. "I'm just going out, don't you trust me?"
Kakashi sighed silently before taking Iruka's chin in his fingers and forcing it up to meet his gaze, "Where are you going?"
At first Iruka stood there silently not saying anything to the other man. Then, in a flash, Iruka's eyes turned deadly and he growled. The school teacher's hands found their way to Kakashi's chest, and pushed harshly upon it.
Kakashi let go from in his sudden surprise and watched as Iruka left their small apartment, without a single word.
It wasn't like Kakashi needed an explanation he already knew where Iruka was going. He noticed the looks that Naruto shot him when they talked. How Iruka would invite Naruto to sit with them, or join them, even if they were on a date. He noticed how much Iruka just never looked at him anymore, never smiled when he was around anymore. And he especially noted that Iruka hadn't told him he loved him for a month.
Kakashi knew that everything was changing for the worst. Iruka was changing, and Naruto was changing. Even their love was changing into an empty shell of what it was before. Everything was changing, except for him, and he was falling behind
