A massive thank to big sister Mumucow. This wouldn't be possible without you, I Love you my Dean 3

Neal didn't what to say goodbye; And that isn't something easy to acknowledge. He had fight so much with himself to get to this point. Not that he liked to always be the target of mistrust and that everybody knew where he was all the time, courtesy of adornment he used on his ankle, but he knew that he was going to miss everybody and above everything on of them.

Peter… The agente of FBI who had chase him for years and who knew him to well. The agent who took him from prison and trust him. The friend who risked himself to help him. The brother who stand by his side when he defused a bomb, taking the risk to die with him.

That was what Neal don't wanted to give up because it wasn't easy have true friends on this world. Of course he had Mozzie, but it was different, he was his guide, his mentor. And however Mozzie tried be closed and not showing, he would too miss "Suit". Not only him: there was too Elizabeth, Satchmo, Jones and Diana. They were a family. Weird and with all the mistakes, but a family.

There was too Sara, the insurance detective which he undeniably had enormous chemistry. But Neal couldn't define what else they had. He liked her and that was a fact. She was smart, funny, independent and sexy. He couldn't avoid it. Sara was quite the opposite of Kate. The relationship with Kate had been a mess since the beginning, starting by her boyfriend, right after she found out his real name, the scams, then with Alex appearing and Kate disappearing, the arrest by FBI, and the music box which led her to dead.

Neal loved her and he did the impossible to try reach her, even when it looked like she didn't want to be found. But he did, because he loved her, because he didn't want to live without her. And after her death, when everything looked like didn't have an end, when he wanted to give up of everything and drown himself in revenge and self-destruction, who helped him to get out and find the truth, who stopped him from doing what he most hated, it was Peter. Of course he had help from all of others, specilly Mozzie, but if it wasn't for Peter, he wouldn't make it.

And Neal liked that, liked the complicity, the investigations mixed with scams, parties, disguises, robberies, treasure hunts. And Peter always there playing as Mr. Agent, before turning himself in some huge scam. That was their big secret, the secret never spoken and they liked that, the rush, suspense, glamor. And was because of that Peter had been able to capture him, because they thought on the same way, and that not only made things easier on the investigations but they were the highlight of them. One knew what the other was going to do even if they didn't speak to eachother. And they were pretty good at it.

Now, when he need to make a decision that maybe would change completely is life, he couldn't stop revive that talk he had with Mozzie and what he had felt:

"I know how hard is to let go of everything. I couldn't do it, I kept piece of Jeffries with me, and I know how lucky I'm for that. And I know about your connection with the FBI, but we aren't like that, and when we finally sell our art, we really need to remember that."

"What do you mean?"

"You and Peter…Enjoy while it last."

After that Peter had arrived with Mr. Jeffires, the childhood mentor of Mozzie, and they had left by the balcony to give more space to their old friends, remarking about how emotional Mozzie suddenly seemed. And was only after Neal say that he felt the weight of the words, how real there were in that moment.

"Sometimes is hard to say goodbye."
