Hopefully, this story will encourage me to write more IshiNemu fic.
Enjoy.
"Nemu-san, is there something wrong?" Little Uryu asked, noticing the forlorn look of the little girl with the braided black hair. It was amazing, considering she wears an expressionless mask most of the time.
Hearing Uryu's voice, Nemu raised her head to meet his face. "I was walking to school," she began with her monotone voice. "When a dog came out of nowhere and attacked my Jizou-sama and ripped out one of his arms off." She showed him the weird looking big headed winged insect puppet she always carried with her with one of its arms torn off.
"I can fix it for you, if you want," Uryu offered.
"You can?" Her face now looked more hopeful and her teal color eyes pleading it were true.
"But of course," he smiled smugly, pushing his glasses up, an act you wouldn't expect from a six year old.
So Nemu handed over the torn puppet over to Uryu. She watched as he took a seat and pulled out a needle and some thread. After looping the thread with the needle, he started to work. And with the skill and precision that a six year old really shouldn't have, he reattached Jizou-sama's arm back to its body.
"All fixed." He said as he handed the puppet back to the waiting arms of the little girl.
"Thank you so much, Ishida-kun," she smiled at him, hugging her repaired puppet close to her heart. "You truly are the kindest person I ever met." She bowed to him in respect.
"Um, um, d-don't mention it." The now blushing Uryu stuttered, fumbling with his glasses, which just made the usually emotionless girl laugh.
Sorry for the short one. Maybe the next kiddy Ishihime will be longer. Can you see them playing doctor? Actual doctor I mean.
Review with your thoughts.
Have a nice day.
