"Merlin, as much as I hate to admit it, sometimes your advice is helpful," Arthur said. "This is one of the very rare occasions when I am going to actually ask you to tell me what you think. So be honest." Merlin nodded while shining a breastplate. "Should I re-propose to Gwen?"

The breastplate dropped out of Merlin's fumbling hands and clattered to the floor with a loud crash. "Sorry," Merlin muttered.

"My God!" Arthur shouted. "The same EXACT reaction as last time!"

"Sorry," Merlin repeated. "Yes. I think you should re-propose. Make it romantic. Even more than the first time. I'm friends with Gwen too, and I can tell she still loves you. She'll say yes."

"Should I give her the same ring back?"

Merlin thought for a moment. "Yes. It'll show her you want to start over with your actual marriage. Where you actually get married."

"Thank you, Merlin." Merlin nodded again in acknowledgement. "How do I propose this time?"

"Oh, Arthur. You'll find a way to make it even more special than last time."

Arthur smiled and walked out of the room, ring in hand. "Wish me luck!" he said to Merlin.

"You won't even need it," Merlin responded.
