A/N: I hope you all enjoyed the other two Mentalist one-shots I did. This one is for all you Rigspelt lovers.

Wayne Rigsby woke up on Christmas morning and found the bed next to him void of his wife's warmth.

"Grace," he mumbled, he was still half asleep.

There was no answer. Wayne stretched, turned on the lamp, made sure he was dressed and began to search the house for Grace. He looked all upstairs, but he couldn't find her so he went downstairs. When he walked into the living room, Wayne saw Grace sitting in the rocking chair, her back to him. The Christmas tree was lit up brightly. Wayne smiled to himself. He quietly snuck up behind Grace and put his hands over her eyes.

"Good morning Wayne," Grace said.

"Good morning Grace," Wayne replied as he uncovered her eyes.

"Did you sleep well?" Grace asked.

"Yes, did you?" Wayne answered.

"Yeah, are you hungry?" Grace responded.

"When am I not hungry?" Wayne questioned.

"True, I'll get breakfast started," Grace said as she got up.

Before heading into the kitchen, Grace laid a small gift in Wayne's arms. Wayne looked down at the bundle in his arms. Their brand new baby girl, Holly Anne, was fast asleep in his arms.

"Breakfast is ready," Grace announced a few minutes later.

Wayne carefully got up, laid Holly down, and then went into the dining room. Grace set a cup of coffee and a plate of pancakes, bacon and eggs in front of Wayne, and then she prepared a plate for herself. When they were done eating, they put their dirty dishes into the sink and then went out to the living room to open gifts. Grace got Wayne a new tie, watch and gym bag. Wayne got Grace a silver necklace with rubies embedded in it, and a gift card to Red Lobster, her favorite restaurant.

"Did you enjoy everything?" Grace inquired.

"Very much so, how about you?" Wayne returned.

"Yes, I did," Grace said as she snuggled close to Wayne.

Not ten seconds later they heard Holly crying. Grace sighed, got up and went to Holly.

"It's all right honey, Mommy is right here." Grace gently cradled Holly in her arms.

Holly continued to cry.

"Come on honey, it's all right."

After a few more failed attempts to try and calm Holly down, Wayne walked into the room.

"Let me see if I can calm her down," Wayne said.

"Good luck," Grace replied as she laid Holly in Wayne's arms.

"Come on baby, Daddy is right here."

After a few moments Holly stopped crying, snuggled as close as she could to Wayne and fell back asleep. Grace and Wayne smiled at each other. Wayne gently laid Holly down, and then he and Grace quietly snuck out of the room.

"I can't believe you got her to stop crying. I think she is going to be a Daddy's girl," Grace said.

"Perhaps. You look tired, why don't you go back to bed while I take care of the dishes, I'll be along momentarily," Wayne replied.

"All right. I love you," Grace responded.

"I love you too," Wayne said before giving Grace a kiss on the forehead.

Grace walked into the bedroom and Wayne washed the dishes. When he was done, Wayne joined his wife in their bedroom. He climbed into bed next to her and in her sleep she snuggled close to him. Wayne wrapped his arms around Grace.

"Merry Christmas my love." Before falling asleep, Wayne managed to give Grace a kiss on the forehead.
