Well, I've started a new fic! I randomly got the idea and decided to write the prologue quickly so that people would kick me up the ass and force me to write more... So, it probably won't be updated as regularly as my current MattxMello fic, because... Well, this is sort of a sidefic, that I randomly thought of and decided it'd be cool. I guess... it'll probably end up being about 10 chapters long? I really don't know. Anyway... Enjoy, I guess :)

Olette giggled to herself, sitting curled up in a corner of the Usual Spot as her eyes scanned down whatever article she was reading in the newspaper, before she suddenly burst out laughing, almost crumbling the paper up in her fits of hysteria. Well, maybe not exactly hysteria, but something close enough.
I simply sighed; I have no idea how anyone can read the Lonely Hearts column... For fun. But apparently she can, and hey... Who am I to judge? After all, I spend most of my time pretending I'm a superhero and jumping around with the keyblade my brother made me for my birthday. So what if I like to slay invisible creatures and generally act like I'm five years old? I'm still young enough to be able to enjoy making a fool of myself, after all.
Actually, I was currently swinging said wooden piece of weaponry about in front of me, though not too violently – my battles were very much secret, even from my best friends – so it was kind of annoying when I lost my concentration and whacked myself in the knee. Thank you so much, Olette's annoying laughter.
Yeah, I know, it's kinda mean to say that sort of stuff about your friends... But seriously. She has the single most irritating laughter I've ever, ever heard in my whole life. Its high pitched, lasts too long, and it's far too sharp. In all... It's painful for the ears. If you could hear it, you'd understand why I detest that laughter so much.
... Ok, maybe I'm just mean. Hayner and Pence manage to put up with it, after all.
"Listen to this, you guys! 'Heart wanted. Preferably beating.'" I laughed along with the others, although I was, I'm sad to admit, slightly intrigued. Interested enough to pick the paper up after everyone else had left and to actually search out that article Olette had found so amusing.
Interested enough to consider calling this stranger to meet them.
Well.. Yeah. It's short. 335 words, to be precise. Which is.. short. Yeah. But hey... it's only a prologue :3 They're allowed to be short, aye? :D Well... Meh. Tell me what you think, if you want :)
