Farewell so long cause
I was wrong I guess
Farewell so long cause
I was wrong I confess
I miss the way you
I miss the way you danced with me
I miss the way you
I miss the way you danced with me
So farewell my love
'Cause I was wrong I guess
Farewell so long
'Cause I was wrong I confess
I miss the way you
I miss the way you sing with me
I miss the way you
I miss the way you sing with me
The pain on her face was unbearable. Tears streaming down her sweaty face, and the sobs were breaking free from her throat. Her stormy grey eyes that were normally filled with joy were now full of tears. The cut in her midsection was burning with pain; the minotaur stabbed her extremely deep in her stomach.
But, the only reason she was hanging on to that last piece of life she had was because of Percy.
He was holding her hand tightly, calling through the woods for help. He, too, had tears streaming down his ocean eyes. He kept checking her pulse, but he knew it was hopeless. He touched her face with his hand and tried to stop the bleeding as much as he could, but it was no use. He sobbed. He sobbed and sobbed because he couldn't save her.
"Do you remember our dances?" her painful voice whispered, silencing his sobs. He remembered.
"Percy!" Annabeth laughed, her voice echoing throughout the beach. He was twirling her in his arms, his feet in the water. He set her down, and put his hands on her waist and on the small of her back. She put her hands in the back of his neck, smiling. Her green sundress blew in the beach breeze, also blowing her blonde hair. They swayed in the water.
"My, oh, my, darling. You have the curliest hair I've ever seen and the greyest eyes," he muttered, examining her intently. She laughed.
"And, my, oh, my, sweetheart. You have the blackest hair I've ever seen and the most beautiful green eyes," she whispered in his neck, kissing him gently on the lips. He laughed.
And together, they lightly danced in the waves on the beach.
"My, oh, my, darling. You have the curliest hair I've ever seen and the greyest eyes," he sobbed. Annabeth managed a weak smile.
"Do you remember our singing?" her painful voice whispered again. He remembered.
"If I lay here," Percy's deep voice sang throughout the room,
"If I just lay here," Annabeth continued, laughing.
"Would you lie with me and just forget the world?" They both sang out together, laughing. They were at the park, in the tree, singing. They were sitting on a strong branch, Percy behind Annabeth with his arms protectively wrapped around her waist. Annabeth slightly turned around, kissing Percy.
"Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life," they both sang together softly, in each other's arms.
Again, Percy sobbed. Annabeth let out a painful moan, and Percy tried anything he could. He took off his shirt and wrapped it around the cut, but even that couldn't work.
"Percy, it's time," she whispered. He looked into her eyes, and he also knew that it was time. He kissed her on the lips, and she kissed him back with the last ounce of strength she had left.
"I love you, Percy. Farewell."
