It was the start of a beautiful day, Candlehead thought. The sunlight beamed through her window, shooing the darkness away. She lugged out of bed sluggishly and pulled on her fluffy cupcake patterned dressing gown. She crept downstairs silently, careful not to wake her mama as she deserved to sleep in.
As she was clumsily pouring milk over her sugar puffs, her phone buzzed loudly from where she previously left it, thumping loudly against the table. This made her jump, spilling milk. Candlehead groaned, checking her phone before cleaning up the mess.
Taffyta had texted her with a selfie ... Candlehead sighed and scanned the picture over. She was getting sick of these early morning texts. It was as if Taffyta wanted her face to be the first and the last thing Candlehead saw every day, and she was getting fed up. But she would never tell her this, not many people like Taffyta so she can justify it; she decided Taffyta was just desperate.
She sighed, shaking her head and tucking into her bowl of sugar puffs. "I wish she'd stop being so clingy" she sighed, talking to nobody in particular.
