Murray, you are the nicest, sweetest, most considerate man I've ever met. And you're very handsome, too! And if you were single, I'd go out with you in a minute. I might even marry you!

But you are already married. When I was 13, I promised my mom that I would never date a married man. And that's a promise I intend to keep!

I hope this doesn't change our friendship, because that's very important to me. You are the best platonic male friend I've ever had!
