Hello
Hello!! I LOVE the Thirteenth Squad!! Ukitake is sooooooo nice!! I've always wanted to be the lieutenant of that squad, directly under Ukitake-san. This is a fic I wanna write about it. I know, people are going to tell me it sucks, but can't blame me for trying!

Lying in the dirt, covered in dirt and blood. Life is harsh in Rukongai, the people are supposed to be nice, but when one with high spiritual pressure is found they are isolated, for fear of being killed. This was life for Haru. He was a small boy, scrawny and sickly. He didn';t do anything, just have spirit power. He didn't want to hurt anyone. When hollows appeared trying to eat the souls of the inhabitants Haru was always there to help. He would slay the demon and bring the kid back home. He was rewarded by the silent treatment. The people pretended he wasn't there, or they would slap him, shove him in the dirt, and call him monster and retreat back into their homes. Life was harsh.
He had it, he wasn't going to do it anymore. He was lying in the dirt, alone; there was not another person for miles. No one will interrupt here. No one will even care. He took the shard of broken glass he had. IT was long, jagged, and was dripping with his blood from his hand. He prepared to plunge the thing into his heart and end it all.
His hand was grabbed and his eyes snapped open to see who would stop him.
"You shouldn't do that." A blond with clear blue eyes stated. He was the one that had stopped him. Haru was mute so he couldn't respond, but he wouldn't have been able to anyway because the moment he looked up the man had scooped him into his arms and was carrying him away.
He panicked, tried to get out. The blue-eyed man saw this and smiled. "Do not worry, I'm taking you to the Seireitei. You have it, spiritual pressure, that is, right?" His smile calmed the boy, but his wouldn't speak.
"So, I brought him here. He had spirit power and they ostracized him."
"Feh, you should have left him to die, you said he wanted to commit suicide, right? Why didn't you let him?" Renji scoffed as he looked through the door to the other room. The boy was sitting there, waiting to see what would happen to him.
Kira didn't respond. "Well…it's because…it reminded me of how I died." He hesitated, looking away, trying not to let the tears spill from his eyes.
"Kira, you- don't tell me you-" Rangiku couldn't finish; she saw the hurt in the blonde's eyes.
"Still, it's odd to find one with spirit power, what are we supposed to do with him?" Hisagi stared at the boy.
"Well…that is…I was hoping he could become the lieutenant of thirteenth squad, they haven't had one since Kaien." Kira finished lamely.
"You idiot! He need high spirit pressure to even become a seated officer much less a captain-class one. And he hasn't taken the enlistment exam. He's just trash!" Renji scoffed again.
"Umm…he does have high spirit pressure, When I came close to him I could feel it, it was hard to breath. If possible, he has even higher power then Genryuusai-taichou."
All of the lieutenants were shocked at this. "Kira quit talking nonsense, that's impossible." Renji got out of his uninterested manner and was now interested.
"It's true!" Kira defended.
"Then why aren't we affected by it?" Hisagi asked, shooting a questioning look at the boy.
"When I found him he was wearing a collar, he refused to take it off. I believe that is a limiter, much like a gentei kaijou." Kira explained.
"Whatever it is can wait, let's bring him to Ukitake and see if he wants him." Renji was back to his uncaring self.
So how is it? I know, it sucks, right? I don't know what I was thining, but I kinda like it. Please review!
