Disclaimer: I do not own Percy Jackson or Wolfblood.
This is after BoO but before tHO and is after Shannon finds out about the wolfbloods.
Percy Jackson walked through the woods of Stoneybridge, thinking to himself.
Percy had come with Annabeth for a holiday on Stoneybridge. He needed to rest after everything that happened with Gaia and losing Leo. All they had of Leo was one message. Nothing else. Harley had been desperately trying to get Leo back, but he had no luck. So Annabeth decided it would be best for Percy and her to visit a quiet town in England. Percy hoped there would be fewer monsters and fewer deaths away from the land of the Gods.
The full moon was out tonight, shining bright over Stoneybridge. Percy stared into its brightness trying to forget the drama of Camp Half-Blood and the haunting memories of Tartarus.
Suddenly a howl pierced the air. Percy quickly got his pen out of his pocket. He was ready to unsheathe it if a monster came out of the woods. His body was tense and prepared.
Instead of a monster, a wolf leapt past Percy, not noticing him. Another wolf raced past him but stopped and turned to face him.
The wolf felt odd to Percy, like a monster but also a mortal. Percy didn't know what to do. He only faced monsters not whatever this was. So Percy chose to stay still and hoped the wolf would get distracted by something.
His heart sank when the first wolf leapt back into the area. This one seemed to keep behind the second. They both growled at Percy.
"Wait, guys!" came the sudden call from the woods. A red-haired girl crashed into the clearing following the wolves. "Too late." She murmured. The girl froze when she realised Percy was also there. The wolves turned around to face her.
"Sorry about this. You know how wolves are!" The redhead said.
"Not really," Percy replied confusedly.
"Right. Ok. Better get them back home." The redhead walked over to the wolves. She fished in her bag and brought out a plastic bag of raw meat. She waved it back and forth to catch the wolves attention and slowly walked backwards out of the clearing. The wolves followed her, sniffing and pawing at the meat. Percy stared at them as the odd group left. He was a demigod and even he had seen nothing like this. For once, Percy was at a loss for words.
"Wait! Who are you?" Percy called.
"Shannon." The girl replied.
"Mine's Percy. Good luck with the wolves!" Percy yelled.
The girl and the wolves were gone, lost to the forest. Percy shook his head and headed back to the small cabin he was staying in with Annabeth, hoping she might know something.
