Disclaimer: I do not own House MD, though I wish I could

Author's note: So here's my first House fanfic, always been afraid to. You know, characterizing House is not something everyone can do, but my Huddy love made me do it. Hope you like it, it's very short now, but it will be longer. English is not my language so I hope I hadn't make some huge grammar mistakes.

It was odd that it wasn't so odd. Or at least that was what he thought while playing with his ball. He just had finished with a case, the team had already left home and there he was, pretending to do something so he would "casually" meet with her at the parking lot. He looked at his watch; he calculated she probably was going on her way out. He got on his feet; cane in hand started his walk.

It was about two weeks ago since him and Cuddy made this arrangement. Though it wasn't a spoken arrangement, it was just more like House had introduced himself inside her car the first time, claiming his bike was being fixed, and she got no choice to give him a ride. What kind of person will leave a "cripple" waiting for a cab while snowing? That's the reasoning he used, anyway. Since then, House had kept doing the same thing, and by now Cuddy didn't seem bothered. He knew she got the hots for him, and she knew he got the hots for her. They have made it pretty much cleared before. And then he had pushed her away, not wanting to recognize there was more than just mere physical attraction. It was his issue with being happy, like Wilson constantly said to him. Though, this parking lot "harassment" had started with the intention of just annoying her for pleasure, now it was just for pleasure. He wanted to be with her for those twenty minutes of ride. No kissing, no nothing, just her. It was odd that it wasn't odd for him.

He calculated right. Cuddy was heading to the door. But there was one thing he didn't expect: her leaving with someone else. He frowned. How could he have missed this? Had he been too absorbed with his last case? 'Impossible' he thought. It must have been a scheme from Wilson so he would finally accept to tell her about his feelings. Of course, how odd it was that just the same day he had told his best friend about his secrets rides with Cuddy, and his lecturing about asking her out, Cuddy seemed being involved with someone. He remained silent, near the elevator, waiting for that charade to be over. Cuddy stood in front of the glass door, her hands inside her coat's pockets, taking out from them a glove. She put one glove on, but the other one seemed to be missing. Right before she could go to her office to get it, the man took her hand and held it between his. He said something House wasn't able to hear due to the distance. Cuddy looked down while smiling timidly. It was then when House knew it wasn't a charade. He could read it in her expression. How could have missed that, seriously. Cuddy left with the man, hand on hand, to her car.

House stood there for a few seconds, there was someone else in his seat, and he wasn't going to allow it.
