Warning: Character Death Summary: BOOM

Saeyoung was on the phone with her. He heard the crash, her scream, the phone drop. It was crushed a second later. His heart felt like it had been dipped in ice. Unknown? He was already in the car going too fast but he sped up. He was being tracked so he shouldn't park up front but damn it she was in danger already! So he barely parked it before jumping out and then he flew to the elevators, freaked out the whole way up, and raced down the hallway, heart in his throat. How had they gotten in? It was supposed to be secure! He'd seen to that!

He burst in, mere minutes after the line went dead.

"Mi-Cha!" he cried, even before his eyes took in the scene.

There was a face looking back at him that he almost recognized...? But he didn't care about that one. His eyes were all for her. She was grimacing in pain and fear, clutching the arm that was pressed against her windpipe. He was taller than her so she stood on her tip toes. She had TEARS in her eyes.

"S-Seven?" she gasped out, eyes going wide.

He didn't have a weapon. Why hadn't he thought of that? His hands clenched into fists and he dove forward in a blind rage.

Unknown danced around him, MC in tow, and held up a hand. His attacker stumbled and spun around.

"Ah-ah. This is a switch for that bomb you installed!" said Unknown, a crazed but gloating look in his eyes.

Seven paused, breathing hard. He scoffed.

"I deactivated it."

"Remotely? I fixed it."

"Liar."

"Care to risk it?

I thought not. Come with me, little kitten~"

Mi-Cha didn't want to risk it either, but she wasn't going with him. She bit down hard on his arm and when he jerked it away, she leapt for Seven. He pulled her behind him. But not before Unknown pressed the button.

For a moment, they all stared at it. And then the hacker dropped it and ran.

Seven was rigid, breathing shallowly. And then all of the sudden they were RUNNING. The elevator doors shut at the end of the hall but he wasn't going for them anyway. Yes, it was faster but if the bomb broke the lines...

He bolted into the stairwell and shut the door behind them. Then they were going much too fast down flight after flight.

"Thank you... for saving me," Mi-Cha gasped out.

"Kinda early... to be saying that..." he returned.

"Still..."

He saluted her weakly. "God 707 at your... service, m'lady."

She flashed him SUCH a smile.

They made it about five floors down before it blew.

The blast entered the stairwell, blew up the nearby stairs above and below and then it all rained down on them. Sure, the remaining floors above them stopped some of it. In the distance there was a horrendous metallic crash. The elevator? But Mi-Cha barely noticed it because one second she was rushing down more stairs, hand in hand with Seven. The next she was thrown to the landing and Seven was gone.

Seven was GONE.

There was a pile of rubble in his place and only a pair of broken glasses lying next to her.

She freaked.

And when they finally dug her out she was bleeding, bruised, and covered in dirt and tears.

Wrecked.

Going into shock.

She kept murmuring, through the tears, "God. Seven. God Seven. No. No. Oh, God! SEVEN!" even as they closed the doors of the ambulance with her inside.
