Rain Follows
Yugao
Summary: Where I go, the rain follows.
Author's Note: One night after an English class on poetry, a friend said: "Poetry is all about being emo." Which gave me the idea that I should write a poem on Sasuke. Hahaha. Anyway, please ignore the errors etc., as usual, or better yet, don't ignore them so you could point them out and help me improve. Dedicated to said friend, and to Trisha who asked for another poem. (This remained unposted for several weeks, because I wasn't contented with how it came out. But I thought, what the heck. Posting is all about self-improvement.)
Disclaimer: Actually, I do own Naruto. Didn't you get the memo?
Where I go,
The rain follows.
The sky is painted gray,
With dark clouds slowly drifting
Across the heavens,
With no other purpose
Than to remind me
That where I go,
The storms follow.
-
A single, solitary cloud
Hovers up overhead.
I remember
When I first saw it, on
The morning of my mourning;
Where I go,
The clouds follow.
-
A flash of light;
A peal of thunder;
Light unto darkness,
Sound unto silence.
All this, and I remember
Where I go,
The rain follows.
Author's Note: It doesn't actually have any direct connotation to Sasuke, does it? I'm sorry. But if you liked it, cookies and apple-flavored candy to you! Hahaha.
