Chapter 1

A Seat In the Past

I watched as the Doctor grabs at his head as if somebody screeching in his mind. I've been watching him do this lately, yet I do not know why. Which is very unexpected because I have been watching the Doctor for over 10 years. He has always had this way about him that I never knew how to explain, especially the bow tie, but bow ties are cool. Doctor lands on the pavement of 57th street in London on December 4th, 1751. He cautiously open the doors of the tardis to reveal the snowy weather of the British land. I sit at a table with my London Post overlooking the boring news of this old era, boldly staring at Doctor while he moves from one end of the street to the other as if he is looking for something specific. He shifts his attention in my direction and I rise the newspaper above my face. The Doctor casually walks in the path of my little steel table, but makes his way around me to talk to a man with a white beard behind me. He shows him his tag and begins to speak;

"Hello there, ugh, young man. Do you mind if we take a seat?" says the Doctor, pulling out a chair before the man even replies. "I am the Doctor and this is Amy. And who exactly are you?" Doctor questions.

"I am Johnathin Huvvle, local." Looking at the Doctor strangely.

"Ah, I see. Wonderful. Well you know Johnny-" Johnathin cuts him short.

"Johnathin..."

"Yes, yes. Well you see Johnathin, there is something very important here, yet I don't know what it is. I also do not know why I am telling you this, but something tells me you know something I do not." Doctor explains throughly. "I feel a connection to it, almost like a bond. I am not from around here so it would be very kind of you to lead me through your time- I mean city."

Johnathin nods is acceptance, still keeping his eyes locked on the two strange people who approached him out of nowhere. They begin to walk down the walk, when all of the sudden the Doctor grabs his head again and moans in agony. Amy Pond, the Doctor's companion, turns and looks to see the Doctor kneeling down on the walk with his head resting on his knees. He slowly relaxes and gets up, Amy still with a concern look across her face. He turns his head to the left to the right then to the left again then asks;

"Where did everybody go?"
