The brown eyes faded to a shocking honey hue,
The cerulean eyes widened, a fraction larger.

Her eyes were dull, milky, not in the least enchanting;
His eyes were bright, vividly sparkling, shining, twinkling.

She could feel her pupils slowly dilating,
He could feel her eyelids gradually dropping.

The once coffee-colored eyes were now bright yellow,
The azure eyes now dimmed to a tinge of indigo.

She locked her gaze with his. Yellow met indigo.

The yellow eyes held myriad euphoria.
Victory. Elation. Epiphany. An irrevocable hysteria.

His eyes, however, fluttered -
Eyelids drooped, pupils dilated, irises darkened.

Her eyes went flashing with fire,
Scorching their souls, rendering them dire.

His eyes held an immense amount of water;
That yet, won't be enough to drown the amber.

A blazing piece of amber caught the flame,
Making the tanzanite cower in shame.

Her topaz-colored eyes are now ablaze,
Bringing everyone, everything into a daze.

She has succeeded.

He has failed.

Hope you get this poem xD I know it's really vague, but I just suddenly want to write a horror/thriller poem that was an epic fail -sobs-
