Me: Okay so I totally have rewritten this story.

Evil Me: Now it's going to be more serious! And anghsty!

Me: I'm sorry that I've taken out the humor of this story... Maybe I'll make a really long one whit where it's just horrible, bad written humor for this story...

Evil Me: I love humor! of course my humor is more sadistic... Like watching grown men fall down stairs like slinkes!

Me: I DO NOT OWN DANNY PHANTOM OR PERCY JACKSON.

Evil Me: Thank you Nicolive for being an awesome beta!

Danny always knew he was different. Not the insecurities of a little child trying to fit in, but the fact that he just knew something was plain wrong. His peers knew it too. For three years he led a life of solitude. Teachers expressed their concern for the young lad, only for their advice to get pushed away by his parents.

His home life wasn't much different. Jack and Maddie Fenton's whole focus was on Ghost Hunting. For the rare times that they actually paid attention to their kids, it was always praise for Jazz. She was the genius of the family; the one who was older, popular, and had more friends. All of their attention was either on Ghost Hunting or Jazz, never their son.

Only Maddie ever tried to connect with their son. The attention was foreign to the young child, but he ate it up none the less. For the first time in his life, he had a best friend, even if that friend was a Mother who never had any time for him. His relationship with his Father was a whole different ordeal.

One day that Danny will never forget was a day in the middle of Kindergarten. He was sitting at the kitchen table trying to read a book while his Father worked on a project opposite him.

"Mrs. Danver says my reading is coming along nicely. And if I work hard enough I might even have a second grade reading level by the end of the year." His precious blue eyes looked up to search for his Father's, only to see Jack's dark brown hair instead.

"That's great, Danny." The older Fenton said in an uninterested tone, still not looking up to face the young child. Danny went back to his reading. After a few minutes Danny took a glance out of the corner of his eye. Jack Fenton was staring at his son. Blue eyes holding so much emotion, most of which he couldn't identify. What really caught Danny's attention was the big frown line edged onto his face. But by the time Danny looked up Jazz was already bounding down the stairs.

"DADDY!" She screamed as a huge smile entered his face. "What, Jazzy-Pants?" Jumping into his arms she started to speak. "I got..." Danny took his book and headed up the stairs. Not daring to look back to the heart-warming Father-Daughter scene going on, for he knew it would have made him cry. For the next 2 years he barely spoke to his father.

Then came second grade. The teacher arranged the seating order in alphabetic order according to last name, putting Fenton next to Foley. "The person right next to you will be your partner throughout the whole year. Say hi and get to know each other." And so a friendship that would last throughout time was born.

That same day they met Samantha out at the playground. After meeting they soon became an inseparable trio. And so second grade came and went. Danny became a bright and happy child for many years to come. But still there was the feeling that something was off.

The portal accident came and went, confirming his suspicions that he wasn't normal. Then came Vlad. Here was a male individual who wanted to love and care for Danny, just like a true father would for his son. But there was something holding him back. Something he couldn't quite describe...

I would go on, but you know the rest.

It was a late day in May when the Fenton parents called a family meeting. Danny silently climbed down the stairs. This was bad, very bad. They never called a family meeting, unless it's for some invention that probably won't work or something else more drastic then that. Oh, he hoped it was an invention.

Let's just say he was sorely disappointed when he reached the living room. All members of the Fenton family were already there. Jazz looked at him with an expression on her face that clearly said 'What did you do?' He ignored her and turned to his parents. His Mother looked a little uncomfortable with the situation, but stood her ground. Jack's expression was more frightening. His eyes were stone solid as he glared at the table. Moving to sit down at the opposite side of his parents, he noticed his father's hands were turned into white balls. A quick thought went through his head.

Did they find out?

He dismissed the thought as soon as it came. Of course they couldn't find out! He was too careful, or so he hoped.

"Mom? Dad?" He asked a little uncertain.
"Sit down Danny," His mother gestured to the offending seat. "How much do you know about Greek gods?"

Thinking back he somewhat recalled the lecture that Mr. Lancer gave to him not that long ago. He was going on about some Hades and Perseus? No it was a women. Peraphone? No, Per- Persa- Persephone! That's who it was!

"A little. Why?" Danny's father's fist tightened even more, making his jaw clench in the process. After a long pause, Maddie replied.

"Because their real." At this Jazz perked up.

"What? But thats, like, scientifically impossible!" The disbelief was evident on her face. At this Jack got up and left the room.

"Do you kids remember the parts of Greek Mythology where the gods come down and have kids with common people?" Jazz shook her head up and down while Danny tried to remember something about a Zeus.

"They were called Demi-gods, weren't they?" Jazz stated as she stared at her mother.

"Yes they were. I am one in fact." This time Danny was the one to gawk at their Mother.

"But wouldn't that make us one fourth god?" Maddie's face went blank. Biting her lip she debated on what to say.

"Jazz, yes. You, no." They both looked at her confused. "Just know Danny, that whatever happens you are always my son. No matter what."

"Mom...? What are you talking about?" Both were thinking about it, but Jazz was the first to speak.

"14 and a half years ago, my Mother, Athena, came here. She carried a young baby with her. She didn't tell me much, except to take care of you like my own. I'm so sorry Danny." Tears were threatening to fall as Danny went to the person who nurtured him since he was a baby.

"It's going to be okay, Mom. It's always going to be okay." This time he took the weeping women in his arms. "It's always going to be okay." She embraced her son with a huge hug before letting go.

"Thank you, Danny. There's also something I need to give you." She wiped her eyes before producing a letter from who knows where. The cover was blank as Danny took it. Opening up the letter, he hesitated before continuing. He pulled out a letter written on normal notebook paper before unfolding it. He started to read.

Dear Daniel,

I'm sorry I was never there to see you grow up. One thing you have to understand is that I have a very important job at Mount Olympus. Giving you up was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. Yes, I've had other children, but none as special as you. I still remember when you were a baby. So small and innocent for this world. So precious, not yet ready to face the world. Now I'm getting off topic. Let me start over.

My name is Athena, your mother. I'm sorry I gave you up, but I had already broken the agreement, and my own oath. With no other choice, I gave you to your sister and her husband to take care of you. I could only hope you would be safe.

Now here the important part. I've heard reports stating that Amity Park isn't safe anymore. There are monsters, not just ghost, lurking around. It's unsafe for you to be there. For the summer I want you to attend Camp Half-Blood so you can train to protect yourself. Many people would love to see you dead, or at least wounded, considering your parentage. Your my only child born from my body, not my mind, and I would hate myself forever is anything happened to you.

Within the package I have a special weapon. When the times right, you will know how to use it.

With love,
Your Mother Athena

Hesitantly, he picked up the package and something fell out. He picked it up and noticed it was an owl with a chain attached to it. Then Danny saw black spots in his vision before everything went black.

Me: Enjoy it?

Evil Me: Noooo we hated it!

Me: Why don't you just go watch some grown men fall down stairs?

Evil Me: Maybe I will!
