Hello all! It's me again. I know it's been awhile, but I've missed writing and wanted to start a new story. This is picking up right after The One wedding scene. I know The Heir has been out for awhile, and it's amazing, but I'll be changing some things in my story. Basically, it will just be Maxon and America's life. I'm so glad to be back and can't wait for reviews/comments! I love hearing from you guys. I'll hopefully try to update around every other day or so. Enjoy!

"Darling, wait up!" Maxon laughed, jogging behind me. I tugged his hand even harder, trying to get him to move faster.

"Maxon, we're going to be late!" I exclaimed. That's when he stopped. I nearly tripped at the sudden change of movement. "America, dear, a king is never late. Everyone else is simply early." he said, with a twinkle in his eye. I grinned.

"I'm a very punctual person, as you will come to find out. And now that you're my husband," the word sounded foreign, "you will have to be punctual too." I said playfully. He tried to keep a straight face. "As you wish, my wife." All of a sudden, we weren't teasing each other. My heart melted when he said those few words. I stared up into his warm brown eyes that always reminded me of hot chocolate on a cold winter day.

He leaned in slowly, taunting me. I bit my lip, anticipating the feel of his lips against mine. Finally, after what seemed like eternity, he kissed me. I leaned into him. He held my waist and pulled me closer. This kiss seemed special somehow. During the Selection, I never knew if he was kissing just me or other girls. Now...well, now he's mine. And I'm his. I feel warm all over.

He pulled back reluctantly. "Weren't you just saying how we were going to be late?" he asked with a smile. I smirked. "You're right. Let's go." Our little bubble had been broken. But we would have our whole life to be together. And right now, I had a honeymoon to go on.
