Horcrux
------
------
Fragments of the soul,
Stolen by death.
They cannot change!
Will not change!
Or is it that
They are so changed
We do not realize?
---
Perhaps in dream,
Or maybe death's flight?
A bolt of lightning
And connection.
Would he be different?
Is he so affected?
Or do I mean afflicted?
---
Two sides of a coin.
One the noble lion
One the spying snake.
He is at once both and neither.
He is light.
He is dark.
He is damnation and redemption.
---
A life impure,
With a scar so bold,
And a life so tainted.
Yet he stands,
In his destiny,
Tasking himself with the end.
His end.
---
The world be damned!
He may begin to think.
He may leave,
Knowing himself already gone.
He may die.
He may kill
Ending his own end.
---
Locket.
Diadem.
Snake.
Boy.
Cup.
Ring.
Diary.
---
All gone, he says.
All is ended.
He is left, carried.
An end to end.
He lives, dies, at once.
Ouroboros.
His death and life his own.
