I let my eyes travel down to the bowl of fruit in front of me. What is this!? Some kind of healthy snack? I don't feel like it. I don't even like fruit anyway.

Chad Dylan Cooper wants a me. Yes, that's right. The sandwich named after me! How could they run out?

Oh, that's right. Because I'm so handsome, every one buys my sandwich!

I chuckle to myself, but of course, the workers should have a Chad for Chad. Psh.

Immediately a bright light flashes across my eyes. I feel the muscles in my face lift as I smile my award-winning smile (oh, I know it is). The smile slides off my face slowly as I realize that there is nobody paying any attention to me.

Why couldn't the person just show themselves? Why hide when taking a candid picture of me?

"I'm free," I say, waiting for the person to come out.

Nothing.

Now I'm beginning to look idiotic. Crud. I sigh again and turn back to my tray.

So this is what caused the flash. Ah.

I reach out and take my spoon, raising it up to face-level. It must've made the flash when it reflected the light. Mmm. It makes sense now.

I squint and see myself.

Oh, I like what I see, alright.

I smile and wiggle my eyebrows at my reflection in the metal spoon. Even distorted, I still look gorgeous. Well, I'm Chad Dylan Cooper. I always look gorgeous.

And then I notice that someone is staring at me, or my spoon, that is.

I narrow my eyes to see Sonny Monroe looking curiously at me in my reflection, probably wondering again why I was checking myself out. Well, this was daily routine. She should be used to it already.

I turn around and she jumps, probably shocked to find out that I knew I was being watched. I wiggle my fingers at her and grin.

She smiles back and I could feel my heart flutter in my chest. She's got such an amazing smile.

What are you thinking, Chad? I think to myself, turning back around to face my bowl of fruit once more. Psh. Sonny, pretty?

"Hey Chad!"

I look up to see Sonny leaning over my shoulder, giving me the smile she's given me earlier. Ooh. What now?

"Hey?" I say, smiling back.

"Do you want your bowl of fruit?" She laughs, and I could feel my eyebrows raise highly into my forehead.

"Why? You want it?"

"Well -- no, Grady does."

"Ah. Well... okay, take it," I said, shrugging and grinning up at her.

"Thanks Chad, I'm sure he'll take it seriously," she said, letting out another laugh and taking my fruit. "oh, and nice spoon, by the way."

I smile at her as she chuckles away, walking back over to the "So Random" table.

Ah, our love will always be unique.
