Written about my friend H0wdy :') I don't own anything.

It was an early spring day. The sun was shinning and the birds were singing. H0wdy awoke with a smile on his face, knowing nothing could go wrong. Today was the opening day at the zoo, and he was excited to see what changes were made over the winter. The bears and the tigers always fascinated him, but maybe they added a new species this year, like an exotic bird. The anticipation was killing him.

He hopped out of bed and anxiously walked towards the door. He heard a faint voice in the background.

"H0wdy sweetie, you need to eat breakfast to have energy for the day." His mom smiled sweetly as she cooked eggs on the kitchen stovetop.

He looked annoyed. "… Not now mom, it's opening day of the zoo, thank you though."

He hurriedly walked out of the door and got into his car. The fifteen-minute drive seemed like fifteen hours, but he always enjoyed driving because it gave him time to think. As he approached the zoo, the gates were glimmering in their iron glory. The strong majestic lion statues greeted him with a powerful yet silent hello.

His first stop was the polar bears. They were snow white with eyes that shined as black as coal. All of a sudden there was a powerful voice.

"Hey, you" said the stranger.

H0wdy was startled and looked around to see who the mystery voice was.

"Hey, you" the voice repeated itself.

H0wdy then noticed something odd. It was the polar bear that was talking to him. He had talked to a lot of interesting people before, but never a polar bear.

"What do you want, polar bear?" he replied casually.

Something in the back of his mind seemed off. Polar bears were known for their tricks and schemes. His mother always told him never to trust one, but he knew all polar bears were different and this one could possibly be genuine.

"The Frejlord is in trouble. I need you to be my adversary and lead me back to my ancient tribe. I am wounded from my feats of battle and cannot escape this glass fortress myself." Said the polar bear with deep concern.

H0wdy had no idea what this strange bear was talking about, but he agreed to help him. He walked to the side of the glass fortress and undid the mighty hinge on the barrier of movement. Alas, the polar bear was free.

"Thank you friend" said the polar bear kindly. "Let us be on our way."

They traveled long and far through the mountains of the north, until they finally reached the Ursine tribe in the Frejlord. They were greeted by a large group of polar bears.

"Brother, we're in grave danger," said the largest polar bear. "An old sorcerer has come to take us over. We thought we killed him multiple times, but he keeps returning. Can you be the one to end this all?"

"I shall."

With that being said, he turned and left. H0wdy accompanied him to the clock tower where the old mage was believed to be.

"Oh they sent you, Volibear?" said a voice from atop the tower.

H0wdy felt unnerved about the situation, he could tell that this was someone of great power. He didn't know what he was capable of, and didn't know how to help the bear even if he could.

"By Frejlord's might!" boomed the voice of the one they call Volibear. "I promise you, Zilean, today will be your final hour."

He Q'd towards the man and got his E off. It looked promising for the valiant bear. They fought long and hard, but Volibear decided to go BORK instead of building MR, which could possibly be his final mistake. Zilean got the ignite off, and Volibear knew this was the end. With one last attempt, he R'd. The bear was dead. But alas, Zilean's ult was on cool-down, and could not be used. They both traded and were perished.

H0wdy knew he had just witnessed the greatest sacrifice ever made on the rift. Volibear's presence would live on in his heart forever.
