Dedicated to Lexen. For everything you put into the hugs & happiness challenge, and for favorite authoring me. I hope your mother has a complete and quick recovery. Thanks for inspiring me to write about Hermione's mother, which I never would have done otherwise. Sorry it's so short :)
Luv,
Nina :)
She gave the room one last glance. Scuffed up walls, bare wooden floor, and marks where pictures had once hung stared back at her. It was unnerving to see the bare shell of a room, and she was turning away from it when a small photograph caught her eye.
It was tucked neatly onto the windowsill, and she instinctively reached for it. The little silver frame held a faded portrait of a young girl.
She had bushy brown hair, and a wide smile. She needed braces. Monica felt that the girl needing braces was of some sort of critical importance. Her teeth were crooked and over sized, but Monica didn't know why she cared about them. After all, she wasn't a dentist. She was a writer, whose life-long dream was to travel to Australia with her husband, Wendell.
The girl's eyes looked a little sad, and Monica almost felt angry at the girl's parents for not giving her the extra love that she needed. She didn't know who the girl was, or why there was a picture of her inside the widow, but Monica decided that she loved her.
hugs to all (especially if you review),
Nina XD
