She's Got a Boyfriend Now

by Jasmin Kaiba

There are two things in my life that I'll never be able to forgive myself for, one is marrying Lindsey and the other is leaving Rory. Rory had always been that special something in my life, and I've just let her go, I was an idiot, but I was too late when I finally realized it.

My last chance with Rory had been... well it was different, I was married, she went to Yale, and I had three jobs. That whole relationship had begun with me taking her innocence. I still don't believe I've been able to be unfaithful to my wife, even if I didn't love her. But my feelings for Rory have never gone away, I've always loved her, and I'll always love her it seems.

I realized that I can't really live without her when we've been a month and a half apart, it was bad. But it should get even worse. I've driven to Yale one day, unable to see one more day without her by my side. In search of her I met a guy named Marty, he was very nice, a friend of hers, he showed where she was. When I found the coffee cart she was at I was met with a picture that I'll never be able to forget.

I saw Rory standing there, coffee in hand chatting with a beautiful blonde girl, laughing and just being happy; she was more beautiful then ever. Then came the shock of my life. That blonde guy I've already seen at her Grandparents' party came over, kissed the blonde on the cheek and said something to Rory that made her laugh and slap his arm lightly. He laughed with her and bent down kissing her on the lips. And she kissed him back... I can't believe she kissed him back...

Later I saw that Marty guy again; he told me that the blond pretty boy was Logan Huntzberger, son of a rich and powerful guy, charmer and playboy. Marty also told me that Rory had been friends with this guy for a while and that they recently started going out.

I had hoped that it wouldn't last, he was a playboy, they were too different, and they would split up soon.

I waited and waited, but the only answer I ever got was that they were going steady. Almost two years have passed as I saw them one day in Chicago. They were leaving the Drake Hotel when I passed them by. They didn't see me and I followed them. They couldn't keep their hands off each other, they were constantly kissing and touching, I wanted to kill the guy, tear him limb for limb...

The next time I saw her I was in Stars Hollow, she was sitting in Luke's Dinner with her mother when that blasted blond Logan came again, and they left together.

I saw her almost five years later, again, in Stars Hollow. She was visiting Lorelei and Luke, with Logan and their daughter...

I've lost my beloved Rory forever to a blond pretty rich boy; I bet he cheats on her...

AN: I've written in Lindsey's POV and in Jess', I felt like Dean deserved his own thoughts on Rory's life as well, it's short and all, but Dean left on his own, without any hard feelings and it would be silly to install conflicts, he didn't even know Logan when he and Rory broke up, and in my opinion Rory wouldn't just go and introduce them.

Well anyway I hope you liked it. I know I should be working on Home in New York and the third chapter is started, but I just can't seem to catch the right mood, it doesn't feel right, I guess, I need a beta, it seems, anyone interested?
