Square had done it again with an ending of a great story called Crisis Core, and after I beat the game again, I decided to write this little thing.

Don't Be Afraid Of the Sky

I've been watching from up here ever since my death. Watching you, Aerith. Watching the one I love. I hope that you are happy with life and that your flowers are growing nicely. I hope that everything in life goes the way you want and then some. And I really hope that people become your friend, because you are so worth being around.

Also, I noticed that you're wearing pink now. I recall that promise and my end of the deal...to come to you when I need help. If I was still on Earth, I'd come in a heartbeat because it would be an excuse to hear your voice.

"I thought today would be a normal day but...then some guy fell out of the sky."

Even the worst day of someone's life could turn into a huge blessing. The day I met you was one of my 'bad hair days' but I still say you are the angel who saved me Aerith, and Heaven is missing one of its most beautiful flowers.

Speaking of which, in terms of beauty (even though you'd never admit it), you'd knock over any man, but to me, your personality is what makes you truly...well, you! You'd lighten up anyone's day, 'cuz who can deny company with such a nice girl who could take away anyone's sorrow? You did it for me, after Angeal died and I'm thankful.

I owe you so much, Aerith. The memories and the time we spent together were the best moments of my life and I'll treasure them forever.

I love you.

And now I sound like a poet...anyways, what I really want to say is...don't be afraid of the sky, Aerith. Because I'm watching from there.
