She held tightly to his hand her own small one almost invisible. He looked down at her from the end of his crooked nose. "Now you know you aren't allowed in there while I'm teaching." His voice was stern but soft."But ... But Sevvy!" She yelled. "I want to play"He couldn't help but smile down at the girl. He took a lock of her brilliant red hair in his hand. "Miss Justice, I can't play right now. Why don't you go find Dumbledore? I bet he isn't busy." Snape couldn't stop smiling at the girl. She looked so like her mother. "Go on now. Dumbledore may give you some candy"Justice's small eye lit up. "Really?" SHe asked. He nodded and smiled again as she ran off down the hall.
Five years later "Acelo Justice!" Professor McGonagall called out in a crisp clear voice. Snape looked up from the table towards the girl.
"Severus, you know she may not be in Slytherin?" Dumbledore said quietly.
"I know. She is more like her mother than her father. How I pray she is not like her father"
Snape's black eyes watched as the Sorting Hat was placed on her red head. It seemed to take eternity to Snape. Then, just as he was turning to say something to Dumbledore, a voice rang out, "Gryffindor"
She stood up smiling happily. She made her way to the table and sat between the Weasley twins. They both smiled at her and clapped her on the back.
As the line became smaller and smaller and more people went off to diffrent tables Snape tried not to seem disappointed. "Severus you should have known." Dumbledore said.
"I couldn't help but hope," Snape started. "She is all that is left of Elena."
"To Justice!" Fred called out laughing and making a toast with his twin.
"To the most beautiful girl now in school!" George yelled back. Justice's pale cheeks turned red. Each twin wrapped an arm around her shoulders.
"Well you are better looking than that first year." Fred pointed to his younger brother Ron. "Isn't that right Won-Won"
Ron groaned and began talking to the boy next to him once more. "I know who you are." Justice said matter-of-factly. "You're Harry Potter!" The black haired boy next to Ron smiled.
"Yes I am." He answered.
"My mum was best friends with your mum when they were in school." She said.
Fred and George were trying to get her attention. They didn't like when she gave her attention to other guys. "Hey! You're our friend!" Fred said. She smiled at him and his frown melted.
"That I am. Where is Lee?" She asked.
"He's right here!" A voice called out and she smiled at the other boy she practically grew up with.
"Lee!" Justice's green eyes sparkled and he smiled.
Snape walked down the corridor watching the many students head off to their dorms. His eyes rested on the Gryffindor bunch. In between the Weasley twins was Justice. He sighed and took a picture from his wallet. There were three students at Hogwarts smiling and waving. Two girls with red hair and green eyes one in Gryffindor one in Ravenclaw, stood on either side of a boy with black greasy hair and a Slytherin tie. Snape smiled at his school boy self but felt tears on his cheek when he looked at the two women. Both dead and gone. He felt a low moan in his throat. "Lily ... Elena ..."
