Prologue

Ahead with seaweed buried in it rose from the East River. It ducked back under and a gleaming beam shot from the sea into the havens. A light danced through the clouds as the head came to a chest, then a twenty foot man, stood knee deep in water. He splashed as he headed into the streets. A boat man stared at him in horror.

Poseidon, the Sea God shrunk to human size and walked through the busy streets of Manhattan. He opened a door and walked into the Empire State Building. He then took the key from the counter man and went to the six hundredth floor: Mount Olympus.

He stared to walk down the pearl halls and stopped at a statue of himself. "Like the new set-up?" asked his brother, walking beside him.

"Yes I do. Miss Chase as went above and beyond our expectations" replied Poseidon.

"Have you heard of the new prophecy?" asked Zeus.

"I have been told about it. But not what it says" replied Poseidon.

"It may not be wise to tell you it" retorted Zeus, looking at his brother.

"Why ever not?" asked Poseidon.

"It calls for the death of an Immortal. One of the sea" said Zeus, continuing to the throne room.

"But that might mean Oceanus" said Poseidon, following his brother.

"Once you hear the prophecy you will understand it is not for your ears" said Zeus.

"Tell me! You don't want another war?" asked Poseidon.

"I would mind as long as you didn't know the prophecy" said Zeus.

"Then fine. There shall be a war. It will end when I hear the prophecy" said Poseidon, strolling out of Olympus.

"You have been warned. I will crush the world so you don't hear it" said Zeus as Poseidon stalks away.

On the balcony, Poseidon met up with Ares. "Another civil war?" asked the God of War.

"Yeah. Pick a side: me or Zeus" asked Poseidon.

"You, for surely my sister will join our father. You must at least have one strong soldier to fight alongside you" said Ares, grabbing his club.

"This war will not last long. Zeus will tell me if he likes it or not" stated Poseidon.

Ten Years Later

"FIRE!" roared Jason blasting cannon. Their constant fighting had fallen to the hands of the mortals. Now, WWIII was at hand.

BOOM! "COME!" roared Ares, jumping from a building top. His army jumped down, too. Heroes from the Trojan War, was now fighting as the living dead. Hector was their lieutenant. Every time he killed someone, he'd throw them around the world three times.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! The cannon's constant fire seemed to never stop. Constant death Hades was sure liking this war. Hector followed Ares through the streets, cutting off the enemy's supplies. Gunman rained bullets from the sky. Bombs replaced rain. Soon, there was nothing left to fight on. Just ruble. Mount Olympus still stood, though. Untouched.

Soon, the battle moved to the Immortal city of Athens. Now the Greeks aided the gods in warfare. The Immortal city stood strong. The war, well, even the Immortal city didn't say strong. It collapsed, and so went the world. Human beings were forced to live in the smoke and rubble of what used to be, the planet Earth.

Yeah, yeah, it was short. Stop the presses. I am going to make the story better. Once I get five reviews, I will update. A flame doesn't count for an update review. Flames are used to roast marshmallows, then I'll give them out to the people that gave me nice reviews. Anyway, bye for now!
