Spencer paused in front of the door, checking his clothes and hair, before ringing the doorbell. There was the sound of laughter and the pounding of little feet as the door opened to reveal Aaron "Hotch" Hotchner, the absolute hottest father the agency had ever sent him to, and behind him stood little Jack Hotchner, the three year old sweetheart whose mother had died in childbirth.

Hotch motioned him in, closing the door behind Spencer as he knelt down to greet Jack. "Hi there Jack! Ready to have some fun?" Spencer asked as he ruffled Jack's hair and stood up. Jack spit out his rabbit's ear and grinned up at him.

"I'm sorry that we didn't get a chance to talk last time. I don't usually let anyone watch Jack without getting to know them. However, the agency was highly recommended so I made an exception. But, now that I'm not rushing out of here, let's chat." said Hotch, gesturing towards the living room.

"How old are you?"

"20."

"How did you get involved with Diana's Agency?"

"I needed some extra money for my school books. The scholarship only covers my tuition and my dorm."

"What are you studying?"

"Well, currently I'm working on a masters in psychology but I have various other degrees that I've already completed."

Hotch leaned back, impressed. "I think that about covers it. Jack already loves you, so we don't need to go over whether or not you can handle kids. If I have any more questions we'll revisit this discussion then." Spencer nodded in agreement and stood, "So, did you actually need me tonight or was this just for your peace of mind?" Hotch stood up as well, a slight smile on his face, "I just wanted to get a feel for you. You're welcome to stay though, Jack and I were just going to watch a movie." Jack jumped up off the floor, his toys forgotten, "Stay Spencie! Please?" Spencer looked thoughtful for a moment and then he grinned, "I'd love to."
