A/N: I don't even know what the barricade this is. I was writing another Javert haiku and then poof, this monstrosity popped up. I know it's terrible and most of it makes no sense, but it's my first rhyming poem ever. Yay. Anyways...read this and then go find another story to distract your mind from this junk. :-)

Endless nights, they seemed to be,

Patrolling streets full of weaponry.

Theives and assasins would have a brawl,

Then back to their caves they would crawl.

Hundreds and hundreds of arrests,

All because it was "for the best."

The world was different every night,

Nothing, it seemed, was in the right.

Still one thing stayed consistent-

The fact that stars were existent.

They filled the darkness with order and light,

Eliminating the gray and the might.

The stars, it seemed, lit the path

To make certain he'd dodge Satan's wrath.

To end up like Lucifer was his biggest fear,

And so he hardened himself when they were near.
