Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter.

A/N: This is Lupin's happiest moment.

"Hey, Remus," James say, as Sirius, Peter and him walk up to me.

"Hi. What's up?" I ask, nervously. I have to get to the Shrieking Shack before night falls. I can't transform in the common room.

"Can we talk?" Sirius asks me.

I feel bad, but lie anyway. "Um. I really have to get to the library to find a book for our Potions essay before curfew."

"Remus, we all know that's not the truth." James says, knowingly. Huh?

"What do you mean?" I manage to get out.

"Can we please talk for two minutes?" Sirius asks.

"I guess," I sigh and move towards the chairs by the fireplace. "But make it snappy."

"Maybe this wasn't our best plan," Sirius says to James.

"Yeah. But it's too late now," James replies. Then, turning to me, he says, "Remus, the secret's out. We know you're a" and he lowers his voice before finishing, "werewolf."
This comes as a shock, and I can't do much other than sit there, with my jaw hitting the floor, and my eyes wide.

"Before you get too freaked out, and start worrying about how we are going to not be friends with you anymore, and how the whole school will know tomorrow," Sirius starts. Great! I wasn't worried about any of that stuff until he mentioned it. I was still in the what-did-he-just-say? stage of receiving this news.

Sirius continues, "listen to me. We would never ever ever tell ANYONE your secret. Obviously, that would ruin your life, and as your best friends, we would never want that. Secondly, we were your best friends before we knew you were a werewolf, so we wouldn't stop being your best friends just because we are now aware of your little condition." A smile seeped into my surprised expression. I knew I liked these guys for a reason.

"And," James adds, "being a werewolf just makes you cooler in our book."

"Don't worry. We will always support you and the hardships you'll face with your issue," Peter speaks up for the first time.

I am finally able to speak. "Thanks guys. You have no idea how much this means to me. How long have you guys known?"

"For a long enough time for us to figure out that you go into the Whomping Willow when you transform, and for us realize that the best way to help you is to become animagus, and spend your transformations in the Whomping Willow with you together," James answers.

"Wow," is all I can get out. Then, I glance at the window, and see that night is dangerously close to falling. "I really want to continue this discussion, but I have to go." I point to the window.

"Ah, yes," Sirius responds, "go on. Oh, and just so you know, we are almost done with our animagus research."

I get up and leave the common room, thinking about how amazing it is to have friends, who not only support me, but want to spend the transformations with me.

A/N: What do you guys think?
