Dory sniffed and groaned. She felt weird, her nose was stuffed up and she felt achy. She decided that swimming might help, since swimming usually made her feel better. She saw her friends "Hey, dere," she greeted them. Marlin, Jenny, Charlie , Nemo, and all of Dory's friends stared in shock. Dory was in a terrible state. Her nose was slightly a reddish-purple color; she sounded all stuffed up; and she coughed a bit. Jenny swam to her. "Sweetie, are you okay?" "Yeah, I'm fine, I just . . . ah ah ah." Dory held her nose to stop the sneeze. " I'm swibbing around since it usually helps me feel better." She let go of her nose, relieved that she didn't sneeze. She shivered a little bit. "Achoo!" she sneezed, "achoo!" As she sneezed, bubbles filled with mucus rose to the surface. The sneeze was violent and caused Dory to shoot backwards into some kelp. "Dory!" Everyone exclaimed. Charlie helped Dory out of the kelp. "Sorry," she sniffed " I better swib so…" Dory suddenly moaned, and started to sink.

" Kelpcake!" Charlie exclaimed in shock. Instantly, Hank's tentacles caught her. She moaned, "Ooh, feel funny," she shivered. Charlie felt her forehead and pulled back "oh, Kelpcake, you have a fever." Dory shivered. "Why am I hot and cold?" She shivered again. "I feel achy, and my nose is all… ah choo!" Nemo said "Dory, I think you caught a cold from the California water." "But we were all dere. Why did'nt I ged sick when I was a kid?" she asked coughing "I don't know; maybe, it was warmer when you were younger." Bailey frowned. "Shouldn't she be eating? You know, 'feed a cold'." Jenny smiled, "I think some rest is needed." "But I'm not tired," Dory protested. Hank placed Dory in her home. "Not (yawn) sleepy," Dory slurred. "Shhh," Jenny cooed. "We'll have some nutritious kelp for you, when you wake up," Dory fell asleep.
