America's boss had had enough. He had asked him to sit in while they went over new crisis that seemed to be emerging and he agreed with a quick "yeah, sure dude" but he hadn't said one word in the hour they'd been working at this. He hasn't even shown any reaction. Any concern at all! "Do you even care? These are serious problems!" the young country just stared at him coldly
"What do you think you're saying?"
"I'm saying you show no concern about the problem at hand!" his boss retorted
"Well what the hell do you want me to say! If I knew how to fix it, I would tell you!" he shouted, upstarting
"I don't know! ...something!" his boss sputtered.
He didn't realize what he was doing. He had only been on the job for a month or so and was just frustrated. He didn't mean to pick a fight with his own nation. It was then he actually took the look of the nation in. he hadn't noticed the dark circles beneath his eyes, or the unhealthy sheen his skin gave off as he continued to retaliate against his own accusations, getting worked up… just little things he hadn't seen before. Hadn't realized and he instantly felt guilty "I'm sorry, Alfred" he said, cutting the rambling country off. Alfred took a deep breath and said resignedly
"I know, I am too"
