Hello everyone and welcome to Space Crash: We're All Bound Here. This is my first true venture into the realm of Mother/EarthBound fanfiction, and yes, since as of now I've only played Mother 2/Earthbound through, there may be some AU or OOC comments on the part of characters.
Please note: I don't own the Mother/Earthbound series and all characters associated therein. However, I do own the concept of the Digalis race and certain other characters.
Enjoy Space Crash everyone!
Space Crash: We're All Bound Here
Prologue
"We have ignition..."
He pulled levers and pressed buttons. The last button he pressed began to glow, and the ship lurched upwards.
"Liftoff. We have liftoff. You may now move around."
One person, who had been lying in her bed, sat up slowly. She clasped her blue-green hands together and looked over at the door, sighing. "Space is lonely..." she said. "I wish I had a friend." With that she picked up the small globe that sat on a table floating beside her. "I wonder if I could find some friends in here..." She shook the globe and laughed to herself as it glowed red. The red swirled around into different shapes as she stared at it intently. "The old ones used to turn to red when they were about to die... oh!"
The globe slipped from her hands and smashed on the floor. A red mist came up from the globe and suddenly started to form. The girl backed up onto her bed and stood up, ready to attack if necessary. But the mist only continued to form and change colour, creating the shape of another being...
"My, my."
The girl's eyes could not take themselves away from the bone-white creature who floated before her. It moved as if it was submerged in water. Slowly it began to float towards her, propelling itself by a constant thrashing movement of its tail. The closer it got to her, the more she wanted to back away, until it had backed her right into the wall.
"So you're the one who kept what held me captive... and shook me until I regained logical thought. Hmm?" It stared with giant black eyes at the girl, who was by now beginning to think that she knew this person from somewhere.
"W-who—a-are—y-you?!" she finally gasped out, wincing under the unfeeling glare.
"What does it matter to you? You're soon to be gone anyway."
The girl shrieked in pain as she felt the being force its way into her body. Then a calming, cool feeling washed over her, and her vision faded to black.

"Ah..."
He stepped up to the lever and tugged it down. There was a sudden blast of light, the sound of a whooshing vortex, and then... all was silent. Except for one voice.
"I'm back... Ninten, Ness, Lucas."
Reviews are always welcome.
