Disclaimer: I don't own Stargate Atlantis. I mean if I did then that would be lovely and I wouldn't be writing fanfics. :P
A/N: The first chapter's a bit short. This story is humour/romance/angst. I'm not sure which one is most predominant. In the next few chapters could you guys tell me if there is more humour or angst. Thanks. :)
The Truth Will Set You Free
"What did you do this time?" Rodney groaned.
"Nothing. I just picked it up off the desk." John said defensively as the glowing object clung to his hand.
"Yeah, right." Rodney scoffed. John glared at him.
"Come on, McKay. I'm telling you the truth." John said trying to ignore the building irritation of the sight pain in his right hand.
"You just had to go and touch it. Come on...Okay, what's wrong?" Rodney said sighing.
John tried to keep from grimacing. The pain that started in his hand, quickly shot up his arm, and soon radiated throughout his entire body.
"John? John?" Rodney asked, grabbing his arm.
John nearly cried out in agony as waves of pain passed through his body. The next thing he knew his vision tunneled. Black surrounding him.
He collapsed to the floor, cracking his head against Rodney desk.
"Oh crap!"
