I don't want to go.
Disclaimer: I own nothing.
I just thought this needed to be added to the last scene of the End of time, to fully give closure to the tenth doctor.
………………….
He looked around the Tardis, helplessly clinging to the edge of the console and choked, "I don't want to go." The faint golden light that had earlier seeped from him, now shone bright as it consumed every pore. The Doctor flung his head back and let the light take him. "This is it," he murmered closing his eyes.
What is it? A faint voice whispered to him. The light seemed to be fading a little.
John, what is it? The voice was louder now. He frowned, he didn't remember any voices in previous regenerations. And why was he lying down. The light was definitely fading now, he could feel a breeze pulling at his hair and that was definitely a hand on his chest.
"Oh god," he moaned, " I've got three hands. Well, it could be useful, but infinitely less normal." Someone next to him laughed anxiously. The Doctor frowned again and asked incredulously, "Have I got two heads as well?" Cautiously, he opened one eye. A strand of brown hair greeted him. "Oh, I'm still not ginger."
The voice laughed again, "Not since I last looked, no." Curiosity, overcame him and the Doctor opened both eyes, immediately wincing. The light was bright still, but it wasn't coming from him.
"The sun," he murmured, "Did I crash?" Blinking, his eyes adjusted and came to fell on the shape next to him, female, hair blowing slightly in the breeze.
"Rose?" It was little more than a whisper, but she heard. And smiled. Oh that smile, he'd missed it. "Am I dreaming?" She shook her head,
"Not now, no." He sat up abruptly and reached out to her. She came willingly, wrapping her arms around him, her fingers in his hair.
"Rose. My Rose. I've found my way back to you."
Somewhere in another Universe, the eleventh doctor smiled as he grabbed the controls of the Tardis. The regeneration had healed him, both hims. Rose had her whole Doctor now, mind, body and soul. And he was free, free of that empty feeling, free to come and go as he pleased.
"Now where were we?" he asked himself, glancing at the display, "Ah yes, that was it. Crashing."
…………………
I know it was a bit useless but I felt the need to write it!
Don't worry, I won't mind if you think it's rubbish.
