I read a very similar fic once and I don't want to copy ideas. Please know that i'm trying to be as original as possible. So, shout-out to AO3 user: lordvoldyfarts and the fic, "fearless." for being awesome. Go read that If you're waiting for my updates. It's more complete. :)

I don't have a proof-reader (beta) or anything so I apologize for grammatical mistakes / plot holes. A lot of things aren't set in stone so I may be vague at points and will clarify once I realize what works and weave it into the story. E.g. Note how I never specify who Lexa's friend is in chapter, "Probably Not A Murderer…". I think it is probably Gustus, though.

Please leave comments and let me know what you think of my writing. If I left a gap that you want filled in, let me know. Helpful criticism is welcome. Also applause is welcome because it feeds my ego and I can never have enough of that. :)

Another thing, I'm horrible at finishing stories. I'm used to write short stories for writing competitions and such and haven't ever really written anything long before. There's a link on my profile to my wattpad if you want to check those out.

However, I hate people who abandon fics because then you read and are like what next? I will probably keep adding just to avoid hating myself...

It's probably worth noting that I do not plan my stories in advance. So suggestions are also welcome. Maybe you know of some cool things to do on the road from DC to Washington State, that you'd love to see Clarke and Lexa partake in.

You also may notice changes earlier in the story if you reread. I may even add some pre chapters, later, to give you some insight to Raven / Octavia / Clarke and their friendship. Or maybe if I keep going their next academic year will start and you'll get it later with Lexa, Anya and Lincoln. Maybe both. :)

Oh, one last thing. I am not from America. I don't know your geography or anything. I barely know my own country. So Google Maps is teaching me as I go. :) I also don't know a lot of your cultural things.

Like I've read stuff like microwaves aren't common in America? And you don't call them carparks you call them parking lots (or something like that). I don't know.
