Prologue
'BEEP, BEEP, BEEP'. Elizabeth Summers or Buffy as her friends called her hit her alarm clock to make the beeping stop. She opened her eyes only to immediately shut them when the bright morning sun penetrated her sleepy eyes.
It was the first day back in school and Buffy was starting her senior year. She rolled over and thought about the year to come which was bound to be a boring one. After all nothing ever happens in a one Starbucks town like Sunnydale.
Chapter 1
Willow Rosenburg sat on the bench in the quad waiting for Buffy to arrive. The two girls had become friends quickly on their first day of school and were soon inseparable.
Willow glanced up from reading her book, a thing she thoroughly enjoyed doing, to look for Buffy. She saw her talking to Daniel 'Oz' Osbourne and before she could stop it jealousy surged through Willows veins. Not that was she jealous that Buffy was talking to Oz because Buffy knew she liked him and would never go for a boy she liked but for Buffy's easy confidence with boys.
Willow herself was shy and could never talk to a boy let alone one she liked without stuttering but Buffy had no problem with it. Willow thought it had something to do with the fact that Buffy knew she could get most boys to kneel down and worship her. More than that however she thought it was Buffy's looks, she was a petite girl with a great figure, shoulder length blond hair which at the moment was flicked out and sparkling hazel eyes.
Willow was brought back from her thoughts when she realised Buffy was talking to her.
"Im sorry Buffy what?"
"I was just saying hey"
"Oh hey Buffy, so.. what did you and Oz talk about?" Willow nearly kicked herself for asking that because knowing Buffy she be able to see right through her question.
"Don't worry Wills no need to get into jealous mode I was just seeing if him and his band were playing at The Bronze tonight, cos' maybe you could ask him out or for a dance?" Buffy tried not to look to hopeful as she waited for Willow to answer.
"Buffy, no I couldn't I."
Buffy cut her off before she could finish "Wills we are going to the Bronze tonight and you'll ask him to dance or I will do it for you, end of discussion!"
Buffys face was set in resolve and willow knew there was no changing her mind so she just settled back on the bench with Buffy sitting next to her gossiping.
From across the quad a boy stood staring at buffy, he was gobsmacked by how beautiful she was and as he heard the bell ring to signal the start of school and he thought he'd better move fast if he wanted to talk to her. He sprinted across the quad to the door she and her friend were about to open. When he got there he grabbed the handdle and pulled the door open.
Buffy turned round startled and found her eyes locked with deep blue ones and was dimly aware of him saying.
"Hello cutie"
