So I am brand new to the fandom - literally, just saw the musical for the first time 3 days a go. I've been very unactive on fanfiction for a while, but hopefully now with a new story, a new pen name, and a new attitude, I can make a come back and expand my fanfiction horizons.
This is both my first Les Mis AND my first time posting poetry. Yeah, pretty intense.
Disclaimer: Hehe, they think I own something...
Little do you know
I've loved you all along;
I've waited all this time
For you to come around.
Little do you see
You're more than just a friend;
We tease like lovers do,
Yet you've always been blind.
Little do you care:
The pain you've put me through;
The wounds will be my death,
For now my hope is gone.
What reason have I to live?
My life has left me flat
To chase some crazy dream
And leave me in the dust.
Now that I lay dying,
You're handing me my dream.
In your arms, I find home,
But of course it won't last.
So watch me fall from grace:
The tough girl you called friend.
The light is fading fast;
Believe me, it's for the best.
So now you know,
And now you care,
But far too little,
And far too late.
