The whispers, they were everywhere.
No matter where he went, he couldn't get away.
They followed him, mocking him, taunting him to stay.
He couldn't, it was too much, he had to leave.
But if the whispers left the pain would start.
There was no happy medium, no way to escape either.
They got louder, engulfing his mind in chaos, and to make it all better, the pain was coming, he could feel it.
Like it was stabbing him, right in the heart, while the whispers poisoned his mind.
He couldn't run fast enough, yet there was no way to leave quicker.
The voices were making him mad, he couldn't take it.
The pain he had been dealing with, he knew he could manage that, he had no clue how long he would last with those voices, swirling around and around inside his mind.
As soon as one faded, 5 more would take it's place until all he heard was buzzing, yet he understood every word.
"Someone actually did it!"
"Really? They did that?"
"They did it! What an idiot!"
"They're going to get killed!"
"Serves them right! Thats stupid and unnatural!"
"Your right! I hope they die!"
They didn't know it was him.
But they wanted him dead nonetheless.
He ran, and ran, and ran.
He had no clue where he was going but his mind was guiding him well enough, he wouldn't get lost.
He had to tell someone, anyone! He didn't care who!
He needed this off his chest, he couldn't keep baring it himself anymore.
But who could he tell who wouldn't tell everyone else?
No one.
He had no one.
Until he realized what a bad idea it was to run so fast with his eyes closed.
He literally ran right into her.
A/N: This is based on a cover my friend made (That cover is the reason we're friends, which makes it even more special beyond being my favorite cover with Poine) and if you haven't listened to it, I'm not exactly sure how your view on the story will change. Perhaps you'll be expecting something that won't occur because nothing of that sort is mentioned in the song? I don't know, but I do highly suggest you listen to it before reading this, because it's an amazing cover and the info in there will help you understand this better.
I'm not sure how accurate my interpretation of it it, but it's the way it is for the sake of the plot line.
This should also be good practice for dwelling on things more, since basically the entire song is not being able to get over a torturous pain.
This is just a prologue, I got bored writing chapter 3 for Her Name Is Alice and decided to write this instead, since I was adding all my planned stories on my profile.
I've been really excited to write this since it came to me, the only reason I haven't is because I'm not entirely sure where I'm going to go with it.
I have a general idea though, I think it'll work.
