Learning Lessons

AUTHORS NOTE/DISCLAIMER- doesn't own, if I did, u can bet I wouldn't put them through this.

All right I wrote this only because I'm feeling like crap right now, depression has long since set in, and the ERC just pulled in and I boarded. Ready for a story that's probably as bad as I feel? Don't worry no tears coming I promise.

Hunter Bradley, Crimson Ranger and ninja, fell hopelessly in love through a website. Not that he'd ever tell his friends that, but yes, Hunter Bradley, the insufferable, doom and gloom blonde haired ninja had finally lost his heart. To someone he met via My Space of all places. Every day Hunter would sit and hope he heard from the person he felt could finally understand his weird quirks. And almost everyday he had something. Until one day in September the messages stopped.

Hunter was puzzled; the person had been messing with his heart and head, since day one. Flirting one message, backing off the next. Then one day the messages stopped, Hunter was puzzled, mainly because he knew a friend of his, Ryan had been messaging this person too, at first Ryan had been all about talking down about Hunter, trying to get the person to stop talking to him. When that didn't work Ryan changed sides and talked good about Hunter. However as good as Hunter thought things were getting, and with Tori's help for getting him to message the person, things weren't going at all.

Ryan's computer went wonky a lot and Ryan would have Hunter check his messages. Hunter knew what Ryan got from this person, "I have no emotional feelings for Hunter at all."

That hurt Hunter, however the same day Hunter would get " the more we talk the closer I get, and I always say what's on my mind"

Hunter would talk to Tori about this, upset and confused, because Ryan had been told "I'm taken" and hunter had been told "I'm single". Together hunter and Tori rationalized that, this person was lying to either Ryan or Hunter, Tori was adamant that it was Ryan being lied too, to throw him off. Hunter agreed his main thing was if he had meant those messages sent to Ryan that he, Hunter, should've come to him. Right? If you're worried that you're giving someone the wrong idea, you send them the message right? You don't tell their friends then rely on them to get the message to the person.

Hunter lived for months thinking that he was being told the truth. Getting a message every 2 weeks, saying hi. October 27th hunter got one; it made him happy to hear from this person. October went into November, which crept slowly into December. No message.

Finally Hunter broke down and went to this person's page to leave them a comment, wasn't planning on finding out that this person was indeed taken, and that he was the one that was being lied to.

Depression hit Hunter, and depression hit hard. He was being lied to, he was inconsequential, and he didn't matter enough to be told the truth.

Hunter looked at the calendar on his computer, December 11, 2006, so close to Christmas, Hunter had been working on something for this person, now the present lay forgotten on the craft table. Hunter had gotten a card to send, the card was put in storage. Hunter looked out the window at his neighbors Christmas tree, for the first time in his life, Hunter wasn't looking forward to Christmas, for the first time, Hunter said words associated with Ebenezer Scrooge "Bah Humbug" Hunter said closing down the site. But not before changing his top friends list, to not include the person he had so foolishly fell in love with. And his greeting to say, "Sometimes to learn a lesson you have to experience."

Post authors note- well? It sucks, I guess u can say it's not actually a story, however it is. Needed something plot bunny bit was on my My Space account, and figured, what if a character fell in love with someone on here? What would they feel how would they react? This is what my brain produced.
