Aina stared at the Dremora, it had mudered her mate, Dro'Zaymar, years ago, but now she had the strength and the courage to kill it, and avenge her lost love.

"So," it said, its voice pure hatred and malevolence, "You have come to die aswell"

It laughed, echoing through the labyrinth, making Aina flinch.

"It has killed Aina's mate" said Aina through gritted teeth, her lips drawn back in a snarl,

"It will die for this!" Hissed Aina, leaping through the air, raising her glass staff above her head- but the dremora had its hand out, and a red beam shot her in the chest. She flew backwards, landing on the decorated tiles, uninjured, but tired.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, little kitty, you cannot bite your master" it mocked, laughing at her.

"Aina is not kitty, and it is not Aina's master!" she screamed as she grabbed her amulet. It was rectangular, with a bright green emerald in it's centre, Aina's favorite gem. It was given to her by Dro'Zaymar, as an engagement present, as they were soon to be married.

A purple glow enveloped Aina, and she charged towards the mocking Dremora, staff raised- It shot at her again, but this time the beam hit Aina and doubled back on itself and hit the dremora, leaving Aina unharmed, but the dremora was alight, screaming inhumanly, and she walloped it on the side of the head, downing it. She stabbed it with the sharpened tip on the other end of the staff, and the fire went out. It stared at her, then started to dissolve into ash.

Aina dusted off the staff and crouched at the skeleton of Dro'Zaymar, weeping.

"Aina has done it, Dro'Zaymar can rest easy now" she sobbed, placing her hands and face on the skeleton.

"Aina, Aina take my helmet and mace" said a whisper, and Aina's ears perked up.

"Yes! Yes, Aina will, and Aina will never forget Dro'Zaymar!"

"Goodbye Aina" said the whisper, then all Aina could hear was the crackling of a nearby brazier.
