A/N: Hey guys! This is a one shot that I thought would be interesting, focusing on Heckyll and Snide, the main villains of the next Power Rangers season. It takes place right after One More Energem and focuses on how the two interact with eachother. Hope you like it!

The Strange Case of Heckyll and Snide

"It's my turn now! HAHAHAHAHA!"

The deep voice echoed through the damaged ship, scaring the surviving criminals out of their wits. Snide could care less though, as he was finally free of his captivity. For 65 million years he had been in that solitary confinement cell for crimes that he could not remember doing. Of course had committed them, but they were so insignificant to him that he completely forgot about them. He had been plotting his master plan, and now that Sledge was out of the way he could set it into action. He knew not what had happened to Sledge and his cronies, nor did he really care. If they were alive he would destroy them along with this worthless planet.

"Must you always be so overly dramatic, Snide? Honestly, you act as if Sledge is here to cower in fear." A voice in the back of his mind retorted.

Snide snarled, knowing full well who it was. For as long as the both of them could remember they were cursed with their shared existence. For the most part the two got along, both allowing the other ample amount of time to cause mayhem and destruction. However over the 65 million years of their imprisonment they had gotten restless. With only eachother and the guards for companionship, they always found themselves bickering like an old married couple. No one bothered to stop their squabbles, as no one was capable of stopping them. Now that Snide was free, he really didn't want his other half pestering him.

Heckyl appeared in front of him, though only as a ghost-like figure. Another thing they learned that they could contact each other while the other was in control, although only they could see and hear it. Heckyl loved to do this to Snide. Whenever Snide managed to get in a good mood (which was rare), Heckyl would pop up and taunt him, driving Snide mad.

"Really, Heckyl? Now you chose to pester me, now that we're free?"

"There's nothing else to do. It's not like I can go anywhere while you're in control."

"Shut up. Now is not the time for fighting. Now is the time to set my master plan in motion."

"Your plan? Please, we both know that I'm the brains of this operation. You couldn't think of a plan to save your life. If the red ranger hadn't caused the ship to crash, you would still be trapped."

As much as Snide hated to admit it, Heckyl was right, although he would never admit it to his other half. Sledge's ship was built with every precaution to prevent escape, and if the ship hadn't crashed he would likely be stuck in this cell till the end of time.

"Whatever, Heckyl. Keep telling yourself that. Meanwhile, I have an army to command."

"As you wish, your highness," Heckyl said with a smirk as he disappeared back into his mind.

Snide just groaned as he hauled himself out of the cell and made his way to the other cell blocks. Everyone on this ship knew how dangerous he was and that double crossing him would be a bad idea. If only he could get rid of Heckyl. He annoyed him more than the rangers ever could.

A/N: Well, what do you think? Good, bad, in between? I just wrote this up as a quick one shot. Heckyl and Snide sound like interesting characters and I can't wait to see how they're portrayed in the show. What about you guys? Excited for the premiere this Saturday? Until next time, read, review, and enjoy!
