"Come stand on point!" Yelled the BLU Heavy as he spun up his Minigun and prepared for the incoming RED enemies that would appear momentarily. He was capturing the central point of Badlands after a destructive attack from a RED Demoman that left the majority of his team injured, so he was alone for the moment.

"Attaaaaack!" He heard the war cries of a RED Soldier that appeared along with another Soldier; they both spotted him and immediately started firing their rockets at him. The BLU Heavy, with quick reflexes, started firing at them with his Minigun, injuring both Soldiers and forcing them to retreat back and find cover inside their side of the battlefield. "Ha ha! Run, cowards!" He yelled at them as they went out of sight. The point was almost captured.

Just then, however, he heard a strange sound from behind him. He turned around and saw the Devil, in all its RED blazing power. Flames appeared in front of him and set his skin on fire. He attempted to fire at his enemy, who he now recognized as the RED Pyro, but this flaming menace was faster than him; it rolled around and pulled out a Fire Axe, slashing at Heavy from behind. Heavy screamed in pain, but he was not going down yet. He turned around one more time to finally eliminate this pest once and for all, only to find that when he turned around he was already in the air product of the powerful compressed air blast coming from the flamethrower.

His vision was becoming blurry, his skin was melting, his wounds were big, but he wasn't going to give up. Not yet.

He aimed downwards one more time, firing his Minigun like crazy as he saw the Pyro run around his bullets. He then saw it pull out something else. It was hard to identify what it was due to the fact that he was still in the air and his vision was blurry at first, but then he could notice it was a shotgun. It was different from the one he and his other teammates used, though, this one was…

Green.

Green.

Green.

Green.

That was the last word that crossed Heavy's mind. The last color he saw flash through his eyes. The color of the weapon that, with a loud BANG, finally ended his life.

THE END

A/N: In case you didn't understand anything because of my crappy attempt at dramatic explanations, this is my small tribute to the Reserve Shooter, which I consider to be one of the most underrated weapons in the game. Its attribute is to cause Mini-Crits to targets in the air, something I find to be very useful in many situations, so this is one of the many situations you could find yourself in when using it.
