Ears lay flat against her wolf skull and she whined as her partner in this long journey turned his back to her as they stood upon the rainbow path that lead up to the Ark. She hadn't been alone during her journey thus far, and while the little Poncle had been irritating at first he was now the Goddess' best friend...
"Don't whine at me like that!" scolded the little man as he hopped up and down in place in irritation, glaring at the Goddess, Amaterasu. "I told you from the start that I was only coming along to gather the Brush moves!" Issun promptly demonstrated this by drawing a rainbow into the air with his own paintbrush. The rainbow lingered for only seconds before dissolving into nothing. "I don't need to follow you anymore!"
Amaterasu's heart ached at those words. She whined once again, taking a step toward him and Issun visibly grew angrier. "Now you just stop right there, Ammy!" he winced at having used the nickname. He knew he wouldn't be able to enter the Ark, like Amaterasu would after all... So a clean break from her would be the best.
"You still have your job to do! Now get going!" Amaterasu's head lowered as she turned slowly, glancing back over her shoulder only to see Issun glare at her. With another somber whine she moved towards the Ark's entrance, passing the doorway and into the ship from space.
"OH... damnit!" shouted the Poncle. "Fine, I'll stay!" he shouted, hopping up towards the gate as Amaterasu's tail wagged happily only to become visibly shocked as Issun bounced back against the barrier - barred from entering the ship.
All the two wanted to do was remain friends, but would a Goddess be able to stay with a lowly Poncle after all this was through...?
