Hey guys, its me! I updated this story so hopefully it's better than the original. I also took care of certain mistakes I had made in the plot and other extraneous spelling errors.

Kay kay guys! See you at the end!

"Ugh, so why are we in Japan again?" complained a girl throwing her bags off the conveyer belt onto the floor.

"Because your aunt sent us here." replied the other following her taller counterpart.

"Why did she send us here again?" the taller girl rubbed her temples as she said this.

"Because she said we needed an 'extended' V-A-C-A-Y." the shorter girl retorted using her fingers to spell out the word "vacay" in the air.

"Ah…yes." She ran her hands through her sandy hair with an exasperated sigh. "Well, where exactly is my aunt's place of a vacation?" The shorter girl cocked her head to one side trying to decipher what her friend just said.

"Wha…see that sorta made sense…but at the same time it didn't. But I think you are making progress from where you started when you first woke up on the plane!" The shorter girl giggled and remembered back on the plane her best friend woke up in a tizzy and had no clue where she was. At the same time she started uttering coherent words…they just weren't in a complete thought. "Yah okay, Jetlag."

"Yea Yea…laugh it off." The blonde girl rubbed her eyes and stretched evoking a bone cracking sound from her back. The shorter stopped laughing and winced at the snapping noise. "So where are we going?"

The petite girl yanked a piece of paper out of her back pocket and unfolded it, staring at the purple and black doodles. "Uhm…well," she turned the paper upside down "Er…I think it says…Kiku Drive?" Her eyes got smaller at she squinted down at the parchment "Yea, that's what it says."

"Okay." The taller girl stood on one foot looking up and down at the giant map of 'where you were'. "Well it says we're right here," she alluded to the red dot "and we need to be down here…we are definitely going to need a cab."

Regret.

"AAHHHHHHHH!"

A blonde bob trembled as it's owner shot up in bed. Her eyes darted around the shadowed room, gathering her bearings. Running a quivering hand through her tresses, she sighed and gently massaged her temples after glancing at a photo of her aunt smiling gently. Chocolate eyes threw themselves towards the bedside alarm clock that flashed "3:34 AM" in a subtle lustrous green.

"Stupid dreams… stupid Japan… stupid aunt's house…" she cursed while she kicked her legs off the side of the bed, hopping up and trudging to the bathroom. Semi meandering through the hallway, she found the bathroom and flipped on the light giving her eyes time to adjust to the new glow.

"Holy fruit loops," The girl looked pathetically at herself in the mirror with her head cocked to one side. "I'm really getting fed up with these nightmares," Readjusting her tank top and pajama shorts, she sang "oh well, guess I'm up for good." Running a manicured hand through her hair, once again she flicked off the lights and headed for the kitchen down stairs.

She turned and walked back to her room.

"GAH! Why did you have to wake us up at 4 in the morning?!"

"Because Yusuke, there is a mission with your name stamped all over it." sighed Koenma.

"Couldn't it have waited a couple of hours? Because I see no world domination occurrence in the next few hours!" Yusuke rubbed his eyes.

"Well yes, but there was this rather annoying beeping sound that I could not get rid of by not calling you so I had to call all of you to get this annoying sound to halt." Yusuke gave a 'whaaaaattttt-i-didn't-catch-that' face. Kurama piped in.

"I think what he meant was that he had to call us to stop that beeping noise."

"Ooookay, that makes sense." Kuwabara nodded vigorously while opening his mouth to yawn. Hiei through a glance up at Kuwabara and then furrowed his eyebrows.

"So earlier this morning..." Koenma began.

"How much earlier could you get…" Yusuke murmured.

Koenma threw him a side glare before turning back to his screen on which a picture of two girls popped up. One had blonde hair with a tan arm wrapped around a black surfboard. Her eyes were a chocolate brown and were shaded through long lashes. Looked to be around 5'5". The girl adjacent to the blonde had light brown hair and was sitting cross-legged in the photo. He hazel eyes had a fire in them but both the girls looked exhausted and worn out. Kurama gazed at the projectors image as his eyes blinked slowly.

You look familiar… he thought to himself.

No, she does look familiar. They both do. Hiei sent a thought to Kurama via telepathy. Red eyes darting to Emerald.

"Well. You are going to have to find these girls and get them back here A.S.A.P because who knows what kind of damage they could do to the world this time. Ever since they walked into our sphere of influence…"

"Sphere of influence? What the hell? Koenma are you smoking something?" Asked Yusuke with a cocked eyebrow.

"Yeah! I always tell my sister to stop because it's bad for you but-" Kuwabara started one of his rants before he was cut off.

"NO!" Koenma shouted, losing his composure. "Now," He cleared his throat, regaining his status "uhum uhum… what I was saying …uhm…." Koenma looked up at the sky, yet again losing his newly found composure, trying to figure out what he was talking about before Yusuke interrupted him.

"So you want us to bring the two girls back here." Kuwabara stated while counting his fingers to make sure he got everything. Kurama cocked an eyebrow at this seeing as how this was the only thing they needed to accomplish in this mission.

"Good job Kuwabara, glad to see you are paying attention in class now." Yusuke chimed in with his lustrous comments as always.

"Hey Urameshi! Shut it!" Kuwabara shouted, "At least I go to class!"

"Dead or alive?" questioned Hiei ripping the attention away from the two classmates.

"..uhm…Alive… please." Koenma clasped his hands together taking his place in the seat behind the overly large desk of his. "Botan will show you the way."

"Easy as pie, just bring a couple of girls here and boom the mission is over, hah, I got this one in the bag." Kuwabara arrogantly expressed, forgetting about the quarrel with Yusuke.

"Can we get some shut eye before we go?" Yusuke climbed on top the desk and rolled into a ball and started to stretch. But just as he was becoming comfy, Koenma shoved him off the desk.

"No. Now go." Papers and pens went flying as the raven haired boy plopped onto the floor with a thud.

"Are we there yet!?" groaned Yusuke for the eighteenth time. Hiei looked back at him in repugnance.

"If you don't shut up I'm going to slice that voice box out of your throat and see to it that you never use it again."

"Oh yea small fry, do it!"

"…hn…"

"Come on you two, it's just a little farther."

"Hey, why did Koenma send all four of us to kidnap two girls?... Are they guarded by a man eating monster?"

"No, not that I'm aware of Kuwabara." stated Botan matter of factly. She looked at the map on her wristwatch and stops strolling methodically. Hiei whom was walking behind her looks up and sees that she has stopped, he glances off to the side to make sure that he didn't run into her.

THUD

"Owwie! Yusuke, watch where you're going!"

"Ugh, you should watch where you stop at then." Kurama whips his head to one seeing Botan and Yusuke on the ground; Botan was rubbing her head and Yusuke was sprawled on the ground with his hands and feet in a crucifix like fashion. Kurama just sighed and shook his head.

"Excuse me for interrupting your normal broadcasting but is this where we are supposed to be?" Kuwabara asks staring up at the two-story house.

The blue haired grim reaper rises, dusts off her kimono and sticks her tongue out at Yusuke whom is still sprawled out on the ground. "Yes, it does look like the place."

The house was quaint, with light blue trimming and an off white tone to the siding around the house. A little pale, wooden fence surrounded the place too while the structure itself was guarded by two apartment complexes on either side of it. It was night, or very early morning so they'd have to be quiet about this case to not wake up surrounding neighbors. Air fills Kuwabara's chest, like a chicken, and he struts through the gate toward the threshold of the house.

"So how are we to do this then? Jump in through the roof? Or through the window? " Kuwabara starts listing off ways the team could get in, dramatizing every detail along the way. Meanwhile Kurama stepped up to the door.

"Or maybe we could bust down the down and be all WEECHA!...that would be awesome." Kuwabara nodded in agreement at his amazing ideas with a grin lingering on his face.

"Or we could open the door…idiot." Yusuke declared irony drenched every word.

Kuwabara snapped out of his dream state and frantically glimpsed about to see Yusuke silently cackling and strolling inside house and the others were gone. He clambered through the entrance and caught up with the others.

The tan girl was down stairs watching old episodes of Scooby Doo thinking Aw, I sure do miss those days…ah the good ol' days. She chuckled to herself at her petty thoughts. That's when she heard a scream outside; her posture perked up, turning her face towards the nearby wall, closest to the entrance of the house.

Hearing a rustling noise, definitely coming from outside, the sandy blonde spun on her heels and sprinted to the window looking out on the front lawn; she saw nothing but the grass dancing in moonlight. She skeptically stared at the lawn a while longer before turning away from the upstairs window.

Hm…maybe Aunt Rhea is right… she cackled to her self me…crazy?... pfffttt

"You had better of screamed for a good reason," The other girl muttered under her breath as she placed one foot after the other very cautiously, making sure she didn't trip over her soporific self. Proceeding to yawn, she opened her mouth only to have a finger pushed up against it.

"Shhhh…" The tan girl hushed the paler girl, only to receive a glare from the silenced, hazel eyed girl.

"This wouldn't happen to be the part where we attempt murder, is it?" The shorter girl's sarcasm flared up when she opened her mouth and yawned again. "At the rate you're going, you are never going to slay anything with a howl like that." The pale girl laughed at her own humor and reached for the sky, her muscles over due for a stretch.

"No, that scream wasn't mine…" The tan girl began explaining her stance, "and if I howled, you would be deaf by now." Her tanned lips retorted with a devious smirk, remembering what she had accomplished a little over 48 hours ago.

The pale girl shook her head and rolled her hazel eyes as she tried asking again, "So…are we going to kill anything or not - because if not, then I'm going back up stairs to your aunt's room and-"

"Good god Kari, don't you know when to shut your face?" The tanned girl spat out, whipping around looking at the light brown, dead in the face. The smaller framed girl stuck out her chin in a pout and just curled up into a ball on the stairs. She topped this action off with the gesture of a tongue poking out of her mouth. "Real mature, Kari." The tanned girl chuckled, turning away from her best friend. "I think someone is outside."

"Slaughter them." The girl named Kari, simply stated, not moving from her balled position on the landing of the stairwell.

"I'm not sure that would go over well with-"

The sound of the front door ripped them from their conversation. The tanned girl hunkered down, onto her knees while Kari unfurled herself from the ball. They both watched the short hallway, leading to the front door cautiously.

Hiei went into the belly of house first as the others followed. Hiei darted in and out the dining room and the living areas, checking to find a sign of the two girls.

"Hiei?" Yusuke questioned.

"Hn." The smaller demon huffed, looking uninterested. "This place reeks of humans."

"Right. And I'm not picking up on any spirit energy or demon energy." Kurama added.

"Well I do believe they are human." Botan began, checking their profile status on her wristwatch.

"But why would Koenma send all of us here for two human girls?"

Jorge and Koenma were gathered around the screen in the spirit world leader's office, watching his spirit detectives arrive at the house on Kiku Drive.

"Koenma, Sir! Did you happen to notify Yusuke and the others that the two girls are, in fact demons?" Jorge noted.

"Oh my." Putting a finger to his chin, a sheepish smile crept up on his face, "Well I figured that it was implied!" He laughed nervously.

"…Koenma, Sir!" Jorge began, "Do they know what kind of turmoil these girls have caused?!"

"They will…"

Jorge threw a blue hand up into his face, "Sir!"

The two girls watched this conversation transpire from the shadows of the staircase. The tanned girl slowed her breathing as she sensed a great amount of combined power coming from the individuals. They were demons and spirit energy combined, working together and neither girl got a good feeling from this. Hazel eyes noted her partner's change in breathing pace so she followed suit and closed her eyes in a mock form of meditation. The blonde's nails elongated from her tanned fingers as her teeth tapered into sharp daggers. Releasing a low growl, her shorter partner's eyes smoldered an intoxicating orange returning the growl with a feral hum in her throat.

Crimson eyes flitted about the living area, bouncing from one dark corner to the miniscule fireplace while Kurama began moving about the coffee table, examining it as he went.

"Hey guys, we can't just walk in here on these two!" Kuwabara blurted.

"Ssshhh! Kuwabara! They are probably sleeping seeing as how it's three in the morning." Botan chided as soon as he opened his big mouth.

"But what if they are doing something?"

Hiei blinked, "Like what Kuwabara? What could two girls possibly be doing at 3 in the morning?" The katana-wielding demon stated with an added lifting of one eyebrow. Kurama stopped in his tracks and stooped lower, ignoring his comrades for the times being.

"Well…you know…"

Hiei, subsequently reading his mind, rolled his eyes in response and spat, "Hn.".

"What the hell are you two gossiping about?" Yusuke yawned, eyeing Kurama. His emerald eyes honed in on something while his brought his fingertips down, rubbing against the wood grain of the table. "Find something, Kurama?"

The two girls watched this bickering from the safety of the stairs and they were both utterly confused at this, mangled crew. They had seen gangs and mobs before, don't get them wrong, but this was unexplainable in every way. I mean if you were going to be woken up by a gang you would expect them to have something, if not little, in common about themselves. Whether it be a bandana or possibly an affinity for souls of children.

But not this clan. Oh no. They argued like an old couple caught in a bear trap.

The shorter, pale girl's orange eyes danced along the group gathering a good look at each of the members. Her eyebrows knit in perplexity, watching the carrot top in blue practically stomp across the room at the boy in green, fists raised. And what made her confusion more awful was the boy in green just stood and laughed. She tosses the tan girl a look of befuddlement as her counterpart volleys it right back.

"Possibly…" Kurama began, still crouched over the table. At that second, Hiei's attention was stolen by something rustling in the staircase, yet to be scanned. Bent at the waist to grab his sword, Botan's bubbly voice erupted through the quiet air.

"Oh! Hello I'm Botan! It's lovely meeting you two!"
