Kyo POV
I was sitting on the roof staring out at the sky.
A lunar eclipse was just starting and something in the pit of my stomach felt weird.
I wanted you to know
Sigh, there goes Tohru again, I think as I see her running off into the forest. Something must've happened; she only does this when she is really upset. I better go see what's wrong. I thought sighing.
That I love the way you laugh
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain away
I jump off the roof landing perfectly on the ground in a crouching position. I straighten up and walk into the woods.
I keep your photograph
and I know it serves me well
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain
She isn't that hard to find considering that she is usually crying; but this time I don't hear anything.
I keep walking further on. She doesn't ever really go this far.
I keep walking, then there is a meadow and on the edge of the meadow still in the forest leaning one hand on a tree and looking up, is Tohru.
Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away
I reach my hand out to touch her but drop my hand almost instantly. Instead I walked up beside her.
"Hey," I said and she whipped her head around startled and surprised.
You've gone away
you don't feel me here...anymore
"Hey," she said with a wobbly smile.
"What happened?"
"Ah! Nothing happened, I just came out here to think," she said looking back up to the sky.
The worst is over now
and we can breathe again
I wanna hold you high, you steal my pain away
"Tohru, are you okay?"
"Yes I'm perfectly fine," she said looking at me. I could see through her mask; she wasn't fine.
"Tohru, you know you can't hide that kind of stuff from me," I said and she looked down when the tears started to well up.
She looked up at me, "It's just that…" her voice trailed off.
There's so much left to learn
and no one left to fight
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain
I looked into her eyes and got up the courage to say what I needed to say for a while now.
I took a deep breath, "Tohru, I love you."
cause I'm broken when I'm open
And I don't feel like I am strong enough
cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away
Then she threw her arms around me and I was waiting for the transformation, but it never happened. It must have something to do with the eclipse.
She was shaking and I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her back. She was crying.
cause I'm broken when I'm open
And I don't feel like I am strong enough
cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away
"Oh, Kyo, I love you too. I love you and only you," she whispered.
Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone...away
I pulled back and tilted her chin up to look at me, and then I leaned down and kissed her waiting for the response.
She was still for a moment then kissed me back. When I pulled back I heard a noise. I looked to see what it was and found someone running towards the house.
You're gone away
you don't feel me here...anymore
It was Yuki.
Awww poor Yuki.
