Several years has passed since his departure from the Netherworld into the lands of human. During these times, Dark had grown accustomed to the way of human lived faster than he had thought. Shiny jewelleries and pretty girls were things that could amuse him. Until one night, Dark's eyes caught something that piqued his interest.
It was a knight, aptly speaking a commander of knights, of a faraway kingdom across the sea. He's dressed in white armor-plate with gold linings, perfectly suited with his pretty face and golden hair. Truly, that was the first time Dark had ever seen a beautiful creature worthy of his praise.
Getting to know the guy turned out to be a challenge. All knights called him simply as Commander, whilst others called him as Lord Knight. Dark wasn't a weak-willed individual, so once his curiosity piqued, he'd do anything to quench it. And by anything, it included of literary throwing himself to the guy's private chamber through his window at night.
True to his thoughts, the Commander was prepared for an ambush. In less than ten minutes, Dark found himself facing a sharp tip of a silver blade.
Oh. The Commander has golden irises, too. Interesting.
"What is a demon doing in here?" his voice was smooth, icy and cold simultaneously. Dark tugged his lips to a naughty smirk.
"Nice observation. What kind of demon would state his shady intention?" How did he know that Dark was a demon?
"Answer me."
Dark raised his hand to touch the Commander's face, trailing his black fingers across the stiff skin. "If I give you my name, would you give me yours?"
"Bribery doesn't interest me."
"Aw, c'mon, just a name?" Dark feigning a pout. "Isn't this a bit unfair? You know so much of me, but I know next to nothing about you."
There was no reply. Dark used enchanting magic to forcefully made the guy speak, but was surprised to see the Commander's eyes glowing with radiance. He was resisting him. However it didn't last for long as the golden eyes slowly went into daze. The moment he saw this opening, Dark used his strength to twist and turn their position around, falling onto the soft bed with the Commander crushed underneath him.
"Interesting. Only demons able to resist my charm, but you're neither a demon...nor a human," Dark sniffed the Commander's neck, where fragrance of something other than blood and death faintly showing up. With a frownm he extended his fangs and bit deeply into the fragile flesh. The Commander jerked harshly from the sudden pain, but ceased his struggle the moment Dark began reading into his blood.
White feathers. Ice. Cursed mark.
Ah, so that's how it was. The Commander was formerly an angel, and his name...
"...Krad."
Dark's eyes glowed in satisfaction. He combed through Krad's long hair, pulled the cross on the tip and untied the ponytail. Krad looked painfully like a delicacy like this, all dazed and paralyzed from the shock. Perhaps he should tune down the amount of toxin he gave him.
"Pretty. You're so pretty," Dark smiled. He turned Krad's head to face him, and kissed him deeply with Krad's own blood still on his mouth.
Krad twitched for a moment, regaining small part of reign over his body, trying to push Dark away. His golden eyes frowning, albeit unfocused. A pair of white wings slowly resurfaced.
"I really...hate demons..." he croaked out.
"Well, then, allow me to court you to make you like me back. We have all the time in the world."
The blood contract has been signed. Stealing an angel disguised as the Commander of Knights was worth it.
