Xander and Indie

A love story

Indie strode over to Xander, her walk confident and her posture firm. He was sitting in a metal-framed chair, his back turned towards her. When he heard the heavy thud on the ground from her boots, he spun around, flicking his blonde hair out of his eyes.

"Xander," Indie smiled, her striking, orange hair flying behind her.

"Indie," Xander replied, jumping up to greet her.

They stared into each other's eyes for a minute or so, aware of the people around them, however, they couldn't resist each other and soon, they had forgotten about the Pilot, the Rising, the Society, Ky and Cassia and everyone else in the world.

Xander folded his arms around Indie and pressed his lips to her mouth, pushing his tongue onto hers.

Indie pushed Xander against the brick wall of a nearby building and laid one hand on his soft hair and the other on his chest, which was rising and falling quickly.

"Xander," Indie pulled away, panting, "I've missed you so much,"

"I've missed you too," he said, placing a strand of her hair behind her ear.

Xander leant forward and kissed Indie's forehead.

"I love you," he said, tracing his finger down her jawline.

"Not Cassia?" Indie asked, glancing over to where Cassia and Ky were sitting and talking.

Xander kissed Indie again and smiled.

"No. Those feelings vanished a long time ago,"

Indie grinned. She had never been jealous of Cassia but she hated how both Xander and Ky had been in love with her. Now she had something that Cassia didn't.

"I know somewhere we can go," she said, grabbing Xander's hand and leading him away from the wall.

As they were walking, Xander spun Indie around, lifted her into his arms and kissed her.

Soon enough, they reached a building, which looked run down and abandoned. It was beautiful, the red bricks covered with ivy and little yellow flowers, which stretched the whole way up the side of the building.

"Here," she said and she kicked in the door.

Indie led Xander to an empty, dark room and pulled him down into a sitting position. She reached over and grabbed the collar of his shirt and drew him closer until there was not an inch between them. Then, she reached over and started unbuttoning his shirt.

Xander grabbed her hand and she stopped.
"Are you sure you want to?" he asked and he could just about make out her nodding her head.

"I'm ready if you are," Indie confirmed. Xander shrugged off his shirt and slowly lifted Indie's top over her head.

"You look beautiful," he said and she laughed.

"You can't see me,"

"I can see enough of you to know that I'm right,"

They kissed and Xander placed his hands on Indie's body; he cupped them around her head, her waist, her back and finally, the strap of her bra.

They were completely naked and they lay together, making love to each other in the empty building.

"That was perfect," Indie stroked his hair and whispered into his ear, her warm breath tickling his skin.

"You are perfect," Xander said and rolled over and kissed her.

Indie jumped up and walked over to a cupboard, where she pulled out a blanket.

"How did you know that was there?" Xander asked as she wrapped it around both of them.

"This village is close to my own. I used to come and play in this very room when I was a child," Indie sighed, remembering her past. Then, she laid her head on Xander's chest and snuggled close to him, her bare skin pressing against his. Xander pulled the blanket up and kissed the top of Indie's head.
